Character Background
- Ashling was born into the Spiderclan of Dathomir but went rogue from Nightspider Cult once she came of age.
- She now lives in the woods surrounding Shattered Ridge, which was ravaged during the volcanic eruption some months ago.
- While she is capable of surviving on her own, Ashling is in search of a new clan that can cultivate her arcane abilities.
Raw Material
- Ashling's survival and mysticism have been guided by a number of voices in her head. To others, she seems quite strange as she is often found speaking to herself or referring to herself as 'we'.
- She is incredibly reverent toward The Fanged God and Winged Goddess, believing that they speak to her and guide her.
- She lives off of the land and has a hard time understanding technology. Despite this, she has a drive to explore that will one day lead her off world.
- She is manipulative and cunning, especially toward outsiders looking to profit from the Elder Gods' lands.
- She has been known to lead many explorers to their doom.
Plot Ideas
- Ashling needs a teacher who can stand her eccentricities. Her specialties will revolve around illusion, cloaking, stealth, and subterfuge.
- She is little better than a feral beast of the forest at this point and could use some feminine guidance in the form of a friend or two.
- There are places on Dathomir that call to her, fonts of energy that she is eager to seek out elsewhere in the galaxy.
- She has explored caverns hiding untold treasures. They have little value to her but perhaps to others, it might be worth the risk.
Existing Relationships
- The Fanged God, The Winged Goddess - Ashling never knew her real parents and thus, she started referring to these deities as such.
