Character Background

• Born to a wealthy family on Bakura, Akilah had the best of everything though was constantly reminded by her father that the family's long military tradition had the key in their hard won prestige. Though he wanted her to follow in his footsteps, along with her older brothers, she decided on another avenue instead.
• Taught to shoot a slugthrower when out on hunting trips, she became good at reading sign and tracking a moving target with that rifle.
• Though her mother and grandmother wished for her to stay on Bakura, Akilah had a wanderlust once school was done and she had the opportunity to see more Imperial space.

* Akilah is very detail oriented - product of being raised by an army officer - though sometimes that gets her into trouble when spur of the moment action is required; Depending on the situation, of course.
* Wanting to make her own way in the galaxy, she's traveled to the seat of Imperial power in the hopes of using her skills and upbringing to continue her dedication to an ideal and justice.
