Character Background

• Jervis is your standard science nerd, working on brain chemistry manipulation for Wayne Enterprises
• He had a rough childhood, and has spent most of his life in therapy of one form or another
• He hopes to use his tech to help people with mental illnesses, though there are other, more interesting ways that it can be used, perhaps even full mind control if his discovery is twisted in the right way

Raw Material

• Jervis' mother tried to murder him when he was 12
• He has an obsession with the book Alice in Wonderland, due to his mother constantly reading it to him
• He's been in therapy since the homicide attempt and can act like a normal human being in social interactions, perhaps even appearing smoother and more comfortable than the other introverted scientists that he works with
• Jervis will fall into his coping mechanism which is using Alice quotations as a sort of mantra if he gets rattled
• He wears a cravat or turtlenecks to cover the scar from where his mother hurt him because it's awkward to talk about
• HE WILL BECOME THE MAD HATTER (spoilers!)

Plot Ideas

• Scientists working together at Wayne Enterprises, or perhaps some sort of walk through for board members or? Interactions inside the lab
• Charity Event at which lots of people are rubbing elbows and the Applied Sciences scientists are forced to mingle
• Running into people outside of therapy, bonus points if you make him late to something.
• I really don't know
• I'm sure you can think of something!

Existing Relationships

• Bruce Wayne, billionaire - Well, Jervis doesn't KNOW him but he sort of works for him. That's almost like knowing him!
