Open Sparr

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis walks onto the training grounds w/ her newly built purple lightsaber. She is wearing the traditional Padawan clothing and has her hair pulled back so it won't get in the way.*

Anyone want to sparr?

[Teka Kenobi]

*Walking towards Artemis comes the Kenobi Padawan. His white robes sweep along the floor as he walks with a slight bounce. He can see Artemis with her sabre hilt in one hand and wondered.

Are you looking for a spar?

He smiled, and awaited a reply..*

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis smiled back.*

I sure am. Would you be interested?

[Teka Kenobi]

** Sure. Where would you like to start?

He raised his head slightly in asking the question and the was that faint hint thhat an eyebrow went up..**

[Artemis Jinn]

Right here's a good place for me if you have no objections.

*A familiar humming sound was heard as Artemis powered up her saber.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**Teka nodded and smiled. Today was a good day. He walked away from Artemis for a few meteres, and turned to face her. Finding his sabre hilt in the ussual place, his belt, he proceded to take it out and ignighted it. The white blade shot forwards and Teka swung it a few times before settling his footing position and entering a defensive stance.

Shall we?

He was now focused on the practice at hand his smiling face was now serious and he awaited a reply.**

[Artemis Jinn]

As you wish.

*Artemis suddenly tensed and jumped into the air, attempting to kick Teka in the head and at the same time slicing low at his midsection w/ her saber.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**Teka rolled forward missing the kick. He held his sabre up as he rolled so Artemis would either have to change the direction of her sabre strike to defend herself, or be chopped in half..**

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis quickly moves her saber to block the blow. As the sabers tangle together for a moment, she slams her elbow into Teka's back as he completes his roll. Then she backflips a few meters away, in a defensive stance.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**He turns and nods to her respectfully. Entering his own defencive stance he readies his sabre, and again sorts out his footing position. Fliiping forward, his downwards vertical strike is blocked by a sabre at a right angle with his and the two are locked in the stance for a few seconds.

As Artemis pushes down with her sabre and Teka pushes up, he decides to be a little un-orthadox, as he does on so many occasions. Dis-ignighting his sabre that is locked in a stale-mate mate battle, he watches Artemis lose balance and stumbler forward. With lightning speed his spins round his currently bladeless hilt and ignights the other end going straight towards Artemis' neck.**

OOC: got aim?

[Artemis Jinn]

OOC: Nope, unfortunately.

IC:
*The Force warned Artemis a split second before the saber would have hit her, and she just dropped to the ground. The saber singed the back of her neck despite her efforts. Closing her eyes for a minute, Artemis sent 2 medium sized rocks flying towards Teka's unprotected back. Then when he turned to block them, she faked a slash at his right shoulder and kicked at his legs, trying to trip him.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**Using the force to sense what was happening Teka let himself trip watching the rocks fly centimetres past his chin and he came to the ground with a thud. Now both of the Padawans lay on the floor for a moment silent. Without a word they both got up and again assumed there defensive positions, taught by the one and only Hart Kenobi.**

*Artemis got up, rubbing the back of her neck. The pain made her angry, and she was tempted to use the anger. But instead she took a deep breath and exhaled, letting the anger leave her. Then, without warning, Artemis launched into another attack, running up a wall and backflipping so she ended up behind Teka. Then she stabbed at his back w/ her saber. When he blocked it w/ his saber, she didn't waste time trying to overpower him when their sabers tangled together. Instead, Artemis went low, slicing at his knees.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**Using all of the agility he had, Teka backflipped to the wallkicking off once he reached it, Teka could be seen flying high over Artemis with his arms out streched, then coming down and rolling for the land. As soon as he was down he spun round with his sabre and Artemis blocked. He shook his head slightly from the jump.

Woah[/]

He put his sabre in his right hand and with his left cart-wheeled sticking a leg out trying to catch his opponent in the face.

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis stumbled backwards, surprised by this attack. She quickly recovered, and grabbed onto Teka's leg when he tried to kick her again, using the Force to give her strength she flipped him and slammed him into the ground. She stabbed her saber at his stomach while he was on the floor.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**The sabre tip shot down to him once twice, three times, but each time Teka had managed to roll away from it slightly. Suprised by another, the purple blade slashed past him creating a wound across his side. He quickly got up and entered his defensive stance, yet again. He jumped up trying to get a kick in at her shoulder but it was absorbed ny Artemis' left arm.**

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis grimaced and took a few steps back from the force of Teka's kick, and he pressed the attack, slashing at her. Artemis dropped to the floor, and attempted to slide tackle him in a way, sweeing her legs at his to trip him. He jumped up into the air, but this was what Artemis was expecting. She got up quickly and slashed at his midsection while he was in the air.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**He stuck up his sabre managing to knock Artemis' sabre away, and with the now non-defended body he kicked her in the sternum, not to hurt her, just to push her away.**

OOC: sorry short post have not got long

[Artemis Jinn]

OOC: That's ok.

IC:

*Artemis took a few steps back, and waited for Teka to get his balance. Then she charged, running low and suddenly sprang into the air, somersaulting over Teka and kicking him in the head. Already turning in the air, when she landed she was facing his back. She tried to slash him between the shoulder blades w/ her saber.*

[Teka Kenobi]

**Teka took the kick to the head to his advantage and with the momentum of it he let himself go forward turning and crouching to come up and block the strike. He went down low and put his wight on his hands as both legs spun round underneath Artemis' attempting to get her down.**
