Is anyone else watching that tonight? It starts at 4:00 AM EST, as many as 70 meteorites per minute, and lasting for almost 2 hours.

Maybe I won't. It takes too long to say "dust particles left behind from meteorites".
I'm going to see it.
I might watch it, dun know as of yet
I'll just catch the next one.Astronomers don't think we'll see another storm like this one until the year 2099. We'll probably never see a better meteor shower in our lifetimes
You do that..
The next one sounds cooler though....What time was it supposed to be again? 1 AM PST? Good, I didn't miss it yet.
My ride is almost here. Cya guys.
;; Packs his bags and goes outside to wait. ;;
......O_o
Maybe he's coming to Missouri so I can torment him ^_^
It was a really cool shower. Lotsa little balls of dust burning up from Leo. All this dust has been coming since like 1766 or something like that.
I had less than 5 hours of sleep on me when I saw it. Couldn't tell if I saw them or if it was just my head. Too many lights where I live.
I laid back in my truck bed, staring up at the sky, and had 8 pints of amberbock...just watchin em all fly by. What a great birthday present that was.
apparently, a million meteorites enter our atmosphere every day. Found that out the same place where I found out Alfred Hitchcock had no belly button
I was in the country all weekend with my Youth Group, and I saw it perfectly.
Then, I turned the thermostat in the guys cabin to 30 C and we boiled in our own swaet.
