The grounds of TCB Shipyards rumble as the massive TCB Dreadnought lifts up skyward. Lord Gue shuttles over and take command of his new Flagship Faith. Aboard the ship all systems are being tested, and retested. All weapons beig armed, tracking systems tested, TCB troops loaded, TIE's preping...

Looking through the thread I see that both the Jedi and the Sith Empire have almost been no shows (the odd poster here and there but that's it).

My experience has been that people only take every second roleplay - they put a lot of effort into one then skip the next and so on. Since the last one only just finished I think this roleplay is in the 'off' period so I wouldn't expect much for the time being.

DeathStar Part 3 "THE RETURN TO CORUSCANT" (RPG)

:: A single black TIE shoots out from a hidden underground tunnel located in the depths of Couruscant. The Tie darts around skyscraper after skyscraper, moving over and under other small ships avoiding any collisions. The TIE makes its way to TSC HQ, upon approaching TSC HQ the piolt sends a transmission to Lord Itala. ::she turns to face DarthCloak, her gaze menacing though hidden by her dark hood::

Never, ever underestimate your enemy! That is the greatest flaw of them all. Do not think the Jedi weaklings merely because they are our enemy. The Sith Order made that mistake once before as well as overestimating itself and it nearly cost us our exsistence. I will be damned before I let it happen again.

::walks past him to the comm station::

Thrawn will be here sooner or later. I suggest we make final preparations for the battle. Mortis, take your Eclipse Star destroyer and place it front and center. Your ship has the most armaments and needs to be there. The Quietus will take up position to your right and the Sovreign to your left. The twenty starfighter from the Quietus will split into three groups, one of ten and two of five. The group of ten will accompany Gav's Eclipse SSD and each group of five will go with each of the flanking SSD's.
The remaining tie squadron's from the Eclipse SSD will be split in the same manner. The size of the groups I leave to you Gav. The bombers should stay with the Eclipse*i'll just call it that for short*. When the opposing fleet arrives, target the lead ship's bridges. That will disable them and leave the rest of the fleet lost.
The center wing will pull back after the initial bombardment, drawing in the enemy fleet. Then the two side wings will swing around, trapping them.
    Any questions or objections?

As preperations for Battle are made, the 4th fleet and The Faith all ready for the jump to hyperspace. Lord Gue walks over to helmsman and gives him orders on where to go.

:: As Jen Katrina explains her battle strategy, a passive HoloNet transmitter cleverly concealed in her hairpin is sending fractally-coded information out. The Oozaru II lies under the mass shadow of the 19th planet in the Coruscant system ::

LL: The TSC battle plan. Jen Katrina has worked diligently on it, I see. Its too bad that she's up against a Grand Admiral. Otherwise, it might have actually worked.

:: LL switched his HoloNet to passive coded broadcast ::

    LL: Thrawn?

    Thrawn: Yes, LL? Thrawn speaking.

LL: Have several of your fighters escort me in. You may want to change your strategy.

Thrawn: Interesting. You have information, I gather?

    LL: Definitely.

:: The Oozaru II travels to Thrawn's formations ::

I see you have the whole strategy thing worked out Master Katrina. I think you should be Grand Admiral Katrina, got a bit of a ring to it, huh?

*Gav orders his Eclipse to be centred between the Sovereign and The Quietus*

Prepare for full deployment of all TIE squadrons.

Deploy 15 TIE Interceptor squadrons about The Eclipse, 10 about The Quietus, 10 about the Sovereign and 15 around the rest of the fleet.

As for the TIE bombers deploy them along the sterns of each flagship in our fleet and prepare to bombard the bridges of the enemy ships.

Lord Blade, I suggest you begin to charge your axial superlaser, mine is at full strength.

*Mortis activates a Com-link channel with the Quietus*

How would you like the AT-AT's deployed about Coruscant?

::flies directly behind LL and bumps his rear. LL dosent know whats going on so he continues. Roulbacks up and fires a shot that is not in cloak::

To look up the statistics of any Imperial Ships I found an excellent site, go to:

For the statistics of my ship, The Eclipse, go to:

OOC: tsk tsk tsk LL, can we say cheater? I know we can. First point. You never stated how you got that 'transmitter' into my hair pin. Two. I never said my hair was up. Three. I never said I had pins in my hair. And four. Even if you had a transmitter planted hair pin, how would you get it in my hair?

    IC:
Jamm his transmissions and go after him. When you capture his ship, check his comm logs. If he has sent any information on our strategy then we will change it accordingly.

OOC: Jen, I believe we've resolved that situation now.

Roul: Look at my ship's specs in the Invasion thread. It is BORN for speed. You aren't going to catch up to me when I'm already in formation for approach to Thrawn's fleet, much less with a cloaking device leeching away your power.

And...do you understand how HoloNet works? We're talking instant transmission, unjammable, and the only way you can trace it is if you have a transmitter and receiver mated on the same fractal frequency. Read a Star Wars tech manual...or a EU book.

One more thing...ever played X-wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, or X-Wing Alliance? Then you would find a nasty phenomenon called engine wash. Has a terrifying way of breaking a ship up...especially one with no shields, as in one that has to be cloaked. Did you know that my ship has 21 engines? Sure, sixteen are ion nozzles, but I have thrust vectored Kuat drive engines, too...and those suckers haul. Displace an awful amount of plasma, which could sting.

::Katrina sits in her co-command chair and thinks. How could someone have listened in? Her thoughts were distracted by that nagging hairpin that never stayed straight...wait...hairpin. She pushed back her hood and pulled out her 3 hairpins. She stretched out with the force to see if she could detect anything. There, in the largest one. She picked out the tiny transmitter, crushing it and throwing it to the floor in disgust. How could this have gotten past her? Note to self, execute servant and never hire another one. She goes to the comm station again and tells the officer to jam all frequencies but one, which they will use to communicate between their own forces. Contacting the other ships, she makes a correction in their tactics.::

"We have to change strategies slightly. Gav, bring your wing back behind the other two but keep in between them. The Sovreign and the Quietus will stay to your relative right and left. All wings spread a little further apart. We will try to make it appear as if we are using our original plan. Draw them into the middle of us. But then instead of swinging the wings around and trapping them, bring the center wing up fast, dividing them. The center wing's fighters will split into two groups, one swinging around to trap half of their forces along with the Sovreign and the other half with the Quietus. The Eclipse will, along with any spare fighters or ships, take on command ships that survive the bridge bombing."

Going somewhere are we Lounge Lizard?

I really don't think so, look at it analytically but objectively shall we say...

We have The Sovereign with 5 active gravity wells and The Eclipse with 10, BTW one gravity well has enough power to prevent a SSD going into hyperspace, therefore I am sure 15 gravity wells will sort out our little problem...now...you are completely unable to go anywhere as you are caught in one of the 100 tractor beams of the Eclipse...now 2...face it...this time you are way out of your league and your petty trouble causing wont win this time....suffice to say your transmissions have been jammed...

*The Eclipse has its Axial Superlaser locked onto LL and his ship; opens com frequency to the Quietus*

Just say the word Lord Marzullo and LL is gone!
