OOC: With over 260 capital ships firing from a distance of 187 kilometers, I doubt that even without sensors, we would have THAT much difficulty hitting three ships that are 8 kilometers long each.

:: LL looks on an operations console, frowning slightly. The Marzullo fleet had used an ingenious maneuver, causing several vanguard Katana dreadnaughts severe damage. LL checked the status. Three dreadnaughts destroyed, six with varying damage. ::

Launch TIE In and TIE Defender squadrons. Prepare Scimitar wave one. Have Dreadnaughts 43, 42, 23, 21, and 12 use their tractor nodes to retrieve the damaged vessels. Move Interdictor 03 and 05 to sector 3455.

:: The much faster TIEs begin to assault the X-wings, and in larger numbers. With nearly an 8 to one superiority ratio, the faster craft tear into the older fighters, causing extreme losses. At the same time, Interdictor Cruisers encircle the fighters, hemming them in, and targeting them with their higher proportion of laser cannons. Scores of X-wings fall prey to the attrition assault ::

Dyzm, prepare the spearhead assault. Run them down.

*Viscera watched the spectacle through a planetary viewing pad. Nearly a million glossy white-clad stormtroopers had gathered, and were being transported by 9 behemoth repulsorpads towards gravitic anomaly hill. Repulsortanks and walkers of all types brought up the rear and flanks, as hundreds of starfighters and Ubrikkian floating fortresses flew overhead, escorting.*


The swarm of locusts had arrived.

"Sir, picking up three Super Star Destroyer-class vessels ranging on sector 53A. Numerous snubfighter blips as well, sir."

Finally, some defensive actions.

"Excellent. Order all gravity wells to their maximum output, and instruct the Azure, the Paladin, and the Merion to engage the enemy SSDs. Assign them to command group A on the tactical board."

"Sir, gravity wells are already at 105% output."

"Then I want them charging at 110% output, Lieutenant! Signal TIE command to recall fighter groups 14-32b to engage enemy fighters. Arm the ion cannons on command group A. Signal them to disable the outgoing ships if at all possible, and to launch Assault transports for a possible boarding."

*Itala set a time wit Pollux and he looked down at his legions of troops, he knew they were doomed and was sure going to miss them, he started making his way down the stairs*

[i]As the 3 capital ships pull up farther into orbit, they shut down entire decks and non-essential systems and throw the power to shields. As they charge up teir weapons systems, they target the TIE carriers. As punshments of hell are inflcted by surface legions upon the invders the ground weapon systems detract the space fleets from there ultimate goals. Just then, the 3 ships for an alpha strike, destroying 3 TIE frigates. Mat's TIE luanched and was now undetectabe among the others...

*When Matthias gets Itala's message he fires up the engine of a hidden X-Wing and blasts upwards towards the atmosphere then when he had the right altitude he shot to the other side of the planet, with Dante in his lap. Matthias makes sure no one is behind him or tracking him and takes off, bursting through the atmosphere and makes a couple random jumps in hyperspace then sets off for a destination where he planned on meeting his family later on.*

*The techs in sectors 1-9 finished setting up the AT-AA walkers. These walkers would shoot down any ship which departed in its region. In this case, there was full planetary coverage, as more than one walker was involved, and the range was quite great. The walkers would fire a salvo of ion energy, disabling the craft's engines and sending it careening to the ground.*

[i]TGE fleet gathers together in response to its allys distress cry. Over another planet, The Galaxy Gun is loaded up with its superior sized missle. Unfortunatly, some heavyer ships and the DS are engaged in other matters at the moment and cannot be utilized. So far 40 Imperial class SD's, the Executer, Omega, and the Faith have gathered over Hoth withoutnotice so far...

*Command group A chased after its prey, the fleeing SSDs. The Paladin and the Azure fired their superlasers, knocking out the sublight and hyperdrives on two of the fleeing Supstars. Two more Alpha-Class Star Destroyers broke off from the massed fleet, and began chasing the last SSD, as the Azure and Paladin rained emerald fire and ion shots on one of the engine-disabled SSDs, destroying its bridge. The Merion, with its much faster rate of fire due to a larger crew complement and better maintenance and controls, traded fire with the sole remaining engine-disabled SSD, and was able to punch a small hole in its hull section, right near the bridge.*

:: The starfield runs red with turbolaser salvos, from a multitude of ships, all streaking toward the SSD Dragoon. The mighty ship powers its shields fully, but even then, it cannot resist the concentrated firepower of such a magnitude. The Dragoon's shields begin to show the toll they are taking, and localized power grid failures begin to register across the ship as one generator after another is overheated ::

OOC: Hmmm...you mean to tell me 260 ships cover every single bit of space in a solar system? And the escape hangar bay is way down the sanctuary's edge, nobody knew of it neither it could be seen. I'll edit their escaping so you stop crying.

No. I mean to tell you that 260 warships are blockading your planet, and could easily pick off any escaping ships, especially with the starfighters, gravity wells, and large ground presence and anti-starfighter and anti-aircraft presence on the planet.

[i]Troopers, Walkers, and other Landing craft, this DarthPoreon. New Orders We are to use the to dig down to the same level as Itala. We will then use the GPD-5 (Ground Penetration Device MK V) to dig the remaining direction to Itala. Your orders are to Protect the Hammer Probes while they Dig. Kill anything that offers resistance. Do Not try and atttack the Itala Estate, for it is trapped.[i]

Two Hundred 20" GPD-5 are moved into strategic locations, within a 10 Square Kilometer Radius of Itala's last known location. 15 Technicians per GPD-5 position the GPD-5s for digging. One Tech punches in the data cooridanites for the digging.

[b]DarthPoreon hits the ignition button and all Two Hundred GPD-5s begin rotating their razor sharp claws. The claws begin digging into the earth on the planet. Almost a Million Stormtroopers patrol the 10 Square Kilometer Radius, and many Ground Attack Vehicles Patrol.

*Itala waits for Gue to clean a spot large enough in the orbit, they needed to escape now, fortunately nobody knew of the deep core hangar bay and it was going to be a long while before they could destroy the shields surrounding the sanctuary*

On the planet, a barrage of laser fire pours down from the sky. The affect of the Laser Blasts are brilliant explosions as the ION Cannons are destroyed.

Many thoughts race through her head as they hover over her home planet, surely being attacked by her family's enemies. Coldness rages through her body as she stares out the window on the bridge of the Dragoon*

OOC-Gue is not in orbit. Even if he had been alerted of our fleet's presence at frih'tan as soon as we had arrived, his fleet would just be beginning its hyperspace jump. He has not even posted having arrived in the Frih'Tan system.

IC-The escorting TIE Defenders and Devils inside the planet's atmosphere quickly vanquish most of the TIE Bombers before they can get to the ground troops, and the remaining TIE Bombers would not last long. Imperial walkers and floating fortresses fire at the defensive Ion cannons, knocking out many of them, as the GMA armies continue advancing on their repulsorpads, victorious so far. Several scout troopers on a speeder bike manage to sneak behind Ion batteries, plant explosive charges, then rush off before the weapons explode. Space support fire rains death from above onto the remaining scattered marzullo troops.
