The 2015 Nike JOGs

I have said elsewhere how much I admire the shoes from BTTF II, and now I can show it... COMING SOON TO THIS THREAD: A large index pic of all of the shots I have got off of the tape, cleaned up, and put online. I have plenty others that are (for now) raw JPGs, so If you need a different shot, just ask via E-Mail, I just might have it. Tim Ketzer has a very good picture of one of the shoes from a Planet Hollywood on his website ( www.ketzer.com ), but other than that I have found NO other pictures online, so I will be the supreme (future Nike) power on the internet...For now, anyway (There is another?). -SSB (AKA, Mike)

I want those shoes, man! I'm so sick of laces. According to the movie, we've got about 15 more years to go...

Same here, Bromine... Anyway, I've got the pics up now, so just add the title to " http://thematrix.acmecity.com/realworld/214/ " and they should show up. --INDEX-- And that is that. -SSB

--UPDATE-- --First, some of these pictures are black & white because it cut down on the funny color bands that I get from taking pictures of a TV screen. Other times, the picture's contrast might have to be changed so much that it just looked better in B&W than color. --Second, I heard that these might be doctored 1989 NIKE Air Jordans. Anybody know something they would like to share or correct? -SSB

I've been doing a lot of looking online at various sneakers, and I think these could be the 88 or 89 NIKE Air Solo Flights. Any ideas? -SSB

Hmmm...okay, come on, all you rich kids out there: Go into your closets and pull out that old pair of Air Jordan's you begged your parents for and then wore only once!

It's very hard to tell what they are made out of, if they were not entirely fabricated just for the movie. The only real clues are in the outsole. That might be the only original part on there. I have one picture of the outsole. The sides may hold some clue, but they don't match anything I've seen. I'm afraid the only source of information would be the pattern of the outsole. I just had a dream where I found the shoes. They looked just like them, only (get this) they were Adidases! Covered in little sliced pyramids and everything. Scary. -SSB

You know, this is kind of scary, but for once I actually have some professional knowledge on a prop subject! I work in a shoe store, but unfortunately we don't carry brand names like Nike, otherwise I could just look up all the old Nike Air's and get lots of useful information like their catalog #'s, etc....too bad. However, I can tell you that just about every shoe in my store has the manufacturer's info on the underside of the tongue, near the top. If someone can get a good look at them at Planet Hollywood, they might be able to read the label and that will tell you exactly which shoe it is. (Unless they took it out, which I doubt.) Anyway, just wanted to feel like an "expert" for a minute.
