The minds eye
When you read EU novels how do you visualize them? What I mean is, is it the grittiness of the OT or the fancy bright colours of E1?
I was reading one of the New Jedi Order books where Solo was rescuing Droma and I realised I picturing it as E1 for first time. Vivid green grass, 100s of aliens and disfunctional droids high buildings reaching to perfect blue skies.
I usually think OT 'Tatooine' with droids that haven't had an oil bath for years and poor special effects <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT="">

I think I see everything with an OT lens simply because most of the EU characters are tied into the OT. When I read Rogue Planet I think I had a TPM style lens. It's hard to say because each book has its own feel and style. I tend to go with whatever mood and imagery the author stirs in me. I would expect that no 2 people "see" the same thing when reading SW EU.

Most of the stuff post RotJ -- or taking place between the movies of the OT, I see OT imagery.
The new Prequel OT (Rogue planet and what I've read of the Jedi Apprentice stories) I picture more TPM imagery.
