    Heck no, please be false, please

    From TF.N

    "Woo-ping Yuen. Probably haven't heard that name before, right? Well, you should know him, because he did alot of the stunt work for The Matrix and Charlie's Angels, and was considered at one point for working on Episode II.
    The way I understand it, one of the reasons he wasn't chosen was obviously the language barrier but also that fact that Yuen would have basically developed a system that would work in the movie, not allowing Lucas to have total control of the set. George is in charge of the set, and their styles would have been very different. "

    PLEASE tell me that there WONT be those overhyped style fight scenes in EP2. It will ruin it for me

    Dont worry the same guy that worked on Ep 1 is working on Ep 2 not the woo ping guy. Though i personally loved the matrix fight scenes i do beleive they belong NO WHERE in any star wars movie.

    Why would George change things anyway? After the reception and praise of Gillard's work in TPM, I think the least GL could do is let him try and wow the fans again...

    I originally posted this on the CC.net Ep.2 forum.

    The official site has a good story on Stunt Coordinator Nick Gillard.

    "Mace Windu's fighting abilities are second only to Yoda," Gillard smirked. "If he gets within in range, there's no question... you're dead." Gillard recently worked with Mace Windu actor, Samuel L. Jackson, on this summer's Shaft. "Sam's a good friend and he's such a fantastic presence. He arrived in Australia on Friday, but his first day is today. I'm anxious to see what he'll do."

    Looks like they're serious about this Yoda being the Master thing. This really seems like it's a challenge. it also looks like they're going to 'give the people what they want' with Mace this time around.... <:-}
