    Movies 007 James Bond: SKYFALL

    Enjoy!

Not too bad for a teaser!

Welp, my day is pretty much goody gumdrops from this point on!

Early on this trailer, he's using a Walther PPK again? Interesting. Also not sure what he's packing at 1:16, but I really hope the franchise switches to the PPS, since it's the PPK's spiritual successor. They didn't do it in Casino Royale because the gun was too new, but Quantum of Solace didn't have that excuse.

    Either way, totally on this.

Here's another trailer, which seems to contain Daniel Craig's application to the Order of the Scorpion.

This actually looks really good. I was a little disappointed by Quantum of Solace - it didn't really feel like it went anywhere - so I had very low expectations for this, but this new trailer has totally won me over. It looks less like a classic Bond film and more like a modern espionage thriller: and I think that's actually going to work out better in this day and age.

Hopefully this will do well: then we can campaign for Queen Liz to make a cameo in the follow-up. After her acting debut during the Olympics, I bet she's itching to break onto the silver screen...

Quantum of Solace was a piece of crap thanks to its directer that is about to screw up World War Z as well(Hollywood should stop giving this German art house film directer money and jobs).

This movie on the other hand looks like a true Bond movie that the franchise deserves.

I don't think Quantum of Solace was that bad, but I certainly haven't felt compelled to see it since I saw it in the cinema. It is rather forgettable and had the unenviable burden of following Casino Royale.

And as for Skyfall, well, it does look awesome but I know myself well enough to know the slightest bit of Bondage gets me all sweaty-palmed and exciteable, and the trailers have always left me drooling. I just hope this one doesn't disappoint now that they've shaken off the narrative shackles that hampered Quantum of Solace.

Still sad they're not using the Walther PPS, even going so far as to give the PPK a facelift and calling it the PPK-S. What rot. The PPS is the future. Embrace that future damn it.

I do love the idea of making Q a nerd fresh out of school though

Want to hear ninety seconds of the new Bond theme performed by Adele?

I might return to RPing if those scrumptious Gue twins would come back. Figrin Sandwich, am I right?

That was actually really, really good. Harkens back to some of the classic Bond themes. Some of the recent themes have been pretty forgettable, but this is one resonates a bit.

The recent themes have all been great actually. Chris Cornell's is probably my second favorite of all

The Quantum of Solace song sucked balls, IMO... but I did quite like the Chris Cornell one.

This sounds proper Bond-ish, though. It's got a belty diva and everything!
It's like that, and that's the way it is.

    Finally had a listen.

Sploosh. I dig this. Suddenly angry there is no gin in my house, because I'd totally want a wrong martini about now

Urgh, they've replaced the original audio in that link with some rubbish quality recorded version.

    Ta-dah!

    Full song now online:

I really really like this song. It's such a classic-sounding Bond theme.

Dang, that is so epic that the movie might actually struggle to follow it up!

    WOW

A proper old school theme, sung by a real singer. Impressed!

Ha, this song came on the radio this morning as I was coming back from a field case. The sun rising golden over the green, green hills while cold morning fog clings to the grass is an amazing backdrop For Adele's voice (what isn't, though?) Felt pretty epic! Can't wait to see the film.
