I'm listening to A Clash of Kings and reading/participating in The Artist's Way.
I have The Dresden Files all on audio, which I think (if i ever get through A Song of Ice and Fire) will be my next series. Been doing most of Orson Scott Card's (Alvin Maker, Mithermages, Pathfinder) series, but I'm currently waiting for books to be published.

The Approaching Storm, by Alan Dean Foster.
Just finished America Aflame - which is one of better histories of the American Civil War that I have come across. Not sure I totally agree with all of his spin, but the author really got into the cultural influences of the CW in a way that i haven't really ever come across before.

I highly reccommend, it's really good. It starts out like it's going to be a typical teen angst anti-bullying story, but it quickly evolves. Not YA fiction.
oh what a tangled web I weave
This has actually been a really fun read and can be used as resource material for all things ancient sith. It covers the origin of the Sith, as a group, along with the development of their weapons, magic, and alchemy among other things. I've barely scratched the surface of this book and it's been great.
^I really enjoyed this and the Jedi book that came before it. Keep meaning to stick in my preorder for the bounty hunter version that's due out later this year.

I might just join you on that, Mu. This will be my third attempt. Not that it's a hard or unenjoyable read. I just managed to get distracted from it long enough that, when I picked up my Kindle again, I started reading something else. I'm listening to Raising Steam by Terry Pratchett
SO JEALOUS I want Raising Steam so baaaaaaad
and Steelheart. I'm on a huge Brandon Sanderson kick. If you haven't read The Way of Kings you need to do so immediately.
I think I have read pretty much everything Sanderson has written, except Steelheart and his Wheel of Time book.
Steelheart is next on my list for audiobook downloads
Currently reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Enjoying it a lot, but my brain isn't much wired to read those days, so I'm super slow.
Finished Game of Thrones have now moved on to A Clash of Kings. So far not much has been really different from the series, but it is kind of nice to get a little bit more in depth with the characters and the descriptions of the places.
