I had this idea while watching GalaxyQuest yesterday, and thought it might be fun to try something that every sci-fi actor/actress must usually go through in their lives - the convention.
Basically, we'd play the 'actors' of our characters (different 'real' names of course), who have to sit through and participate in a mind-numbing, fanboy filled, three-day long convention. It will be a taxing experience for all, and nerves will undoubtedly be shot
There are a few rules though, and there'll be more than one convention thread so that we can all have a go without having a huge mishmash of craziness. There will be six guest speakers at each con, and convention-goers will be able to pick their brains about their roles in SW-Fans and the threads they were in/are currently in.

The rulesAny takers?
- If your character isn't a guest speaker, than your role in the thread can be one or more of the convention-goers, and it's entirely up to you whether you wish to be an overly geeky, fanatical fan, or a more casual follower.
- Dressing room bickering is actively encouraged
- The panel is split up into groups of three over the period of the first two days.
- On the third and last day all of the guest speakers gather to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans.
