Thread: Star Trek's Michael Piller Dead at 57

TV Star Trek's Michael Piller Dead at 57

Although I lost interest in Voyager and had no interest in Enterprise, I'm still a huge Trek fan overall, so this was sad news to read. And if you're also a fan of USA's Dead Zone series, this is something you should know as well.

I love the early DS9's and he did TNG for a while as well right?

I might return to RPing if those scrumptious Gue twins would come back. Figrin Sandwich, am I right?

Aye, he wrote and produced for TNG before moving over to start DS9.

I always said that he was, by far, the best of the the "heir apparents" to Gene Roddenberry. I think the Star Trek franchise would have been much better off had Piller been running the ship instead of Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.

He'll be missed. He was a terrific storyteller.

That is really sad. Well to those of us who knew his accomplishments and successes anyway. Your right, he will be missed. Especially when he was a person ahead of his time.
