To build their own box, stick about $3 worth of star wars stickers on it, and save a few thousand dollars, or...blow it on star wars toys and games.

Alienware is waaay too expensive for what you get.

The insides are not what i'm interested in really. I'm more interested in the towers.

They are cool looking. But are they worth the money? Are the parts inside worth that much? Or is that price just for the box?!?

It is not worth the money. The box is usually high-end, but you can build an equivalent for far, far less than what Alienware charges.

They want your soul too, don't yua know?

You can get the same machine for a lot less if you build it yourself (like I did). But I still wish they sold the towers seperately. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they charged $50-$100 for the box.

I'd be willing to by a tower for $100. One like that, anyway. I would just not spend that much for a whole system.

Does it also come with a monitar and mouse and keyboard?

I bought my plane jane case + power supply unit off mwave for $40, so I think $50-$100 for a SW case would be pretty reasonable stuff actually.

They'd likely be charging $300 for one

Good cases with power supplies are more like ~$70. You can get something cheaper but generally speaking, if that crappo power supply goes, you're screwed. Antec makes good cases and power supplies.
