Opperation: Death - Target: Chandrila (Open)

[Dark Lord Rivin]

Rivin's atacking arm recoils back as it is kicked giving Rognan anough time to get out of the way of his attack. Rivin also notices the sign comming towards him, and sends it a quick nod, allowing him to grab it with the force, causing the sign to fly towards another small group of fleeing townspeople.

By this time Rognan was almost to his knees, So Rivin takes another step forwards, and thrust's his left saber at Rognan's chest and his right saber swinging at Rognan's neck. He also makes sure that he has a strog enough grip on his blades, so that Rognan can not deflect his left blade into his right causing both blades to be blocked.

His little sign diversion gave him enough time for what he needed. And now, as Rivins two blades came at him again, he wasn't in a very defendible position.

Rognan leaned to the right and faced the right saber, bringing his saber up infront of him, causing him to evade the thrust and block the swing which, in turn, also protected him from any quick attacks from that position.

The sign that was going toward the people hit nothing, for the people were smart enough to evade, or maybe just lucky, the big sign.

Rivin uses the force to throw Rognan back into a wall not far away behind him. After Rognan is in the Air, Rivin calls on to the force to pull a lot of dirt and rocks off the dirt road, and sends all of it at Rognan as a Flying cloud of Dirt and Debrise.

Rivin was about to move in to attack Rognan again, when he noticed that the rest of the town had been evacuated, and the planetary defence was now sending in Snubfighters to deal with him.

Rivin was getting ready to block a number of lazer blasts, and the lazer blasts started to come in hard and fast, which Rivin only had little trouble blocking or dodging. But then Rivin noticed that one of the fighters had fired a missle at him. Hidden by the wave of lazer fire, Rivin didn't see it untill it was almost too late. Rivin dived out of the way, only to be thrown farther as the explosion throws him to the side of a building. Rivin hits the Side of a building across the wide main street from Rognan.

He was in pain, the fighters were getting ready for another pass, And Rognan was still fighting capabile. This was not looking good.

Rognan hit the wall with a force that made him black out for a second before coming back to reality. When he did, he saw a a twister of dirt and stones coming his way. It wasn't like it was laser fire or a lightsaber. Those would have been easyer to deal with. But how do you stop dirt and many rocks? He wasn't in a position to get out of the way or put anything between him and the storm.

Just before the could of pain was about to hit him, Rog heard a loud boom that made his ears hurt. There was a flash and a explosion behind the dust could that could hardly be seen but he knew that there had to be more things flying through the air now. So with all he could muster at that time, he used the Force to created a kind of bubble around himself that pushed outward. As it was pushing back the dirt and stone it connected with the debrise from the explosion and stopped it from going his way as well.

When the cloud settled down, he could see across the way where Rivin use to be. There was a cratter there now, along with smoke rising from it. Furth across was Rivin, still in one peice. But it looked like he was cutting it a little to close to whatever that explosion was. And out of the corner of his eye he saw a fighter zoom by and was coming around for another pass. He wouldn't have a clear shot, not with Rivin being next to the building. The fighter would have to make another pass at the right angle to get to him. Untill that could happen, he was still able to fight back and maybe even get away. Rog didn't want that to happen. Consintrating his thoughts he pushed his consurns aside and focused on the building behind Rivin. He then lifted off the ground and was moving across the street like a bullet right for Rivin. He landed to his feet and kept running with the speed he had and through his saber vertically at Rivin in a buzz saw fashion. He also pulled a small piece a board from the street and shot it at him.

Rivin knew that things were going down hill for him. Rognan was zooming towards him, and a peice of wood was now flying at him. The Snubfighters were comming around again, and he still had to deal with a Jedi.

Rivin still on the ground, turns off his lightsabers, and rolls off to his right side so that the Lightsaber and wood would not hit him, he then flips him self back to his feet, so that he is now in front of an ally way going between two buildings, at which Rivin quickly runs through.

When he gets to the otherside, he pulls out a button, which he pushes, thus calling his speeder bike back to him. Though it will take a moment or so for it to get here. He now presses himself agienst the backside of the building, hoping that Rognan will run right past him if he follows him through the ally.

Fighters...no, no, that wouldn't do.

He found cover again and dropped the illusion to give him a little more to work with, then considered again and dropped the Force-mask as well. The pilots of the fightercraft suddenly found themselves having a series of good ideas involving the landing of their vessels on an open plane at top speed. Less than a minute later, a massive set of fireballs appeared on the edge of town.

Smiling grimly, Je'gan restarted the Force Mask and the illusion of invisibility, then moved back to a position where he could see the two combatants.

Rognan's saber dug into the ground and part of the wall before switching off. The piece of wood sent splintering in the wall right after Rivin started running. As Rog continued to run he slowed down and stopped himself on the wall where his saber was poking out slighty. He grabbed it and looked to Rivin's fleating back as he turn away, out of site. Just then he heard another explosion and a feeling of death throug hthe force. He looked to the outskirts of town and saw smoke rising over the houses and buildings. Rivin couldn't have done that, not with his tail tucked between his legs. There had to be another one around here. That wasn't good. He wouldn;t be able to deal with more then one, if he could even deal with Rivin.

So far this was all he knew the other person had done. And it was enough to make him weary of where Rivin had gone off to. He went to the entrence to the alley and looked inside. It was dark and could easily split off into other sections. He felt Rivin was still around, somewhere. He thought better then to go inside, but to follow could be worse then letting him go. He would not allow that if he could help it. But he needed some way to light the alley. Looking behind him at the still burning building, he took a piece of burning wood and floughted it to him. He grabbed it and headed inside the ally, looking all over for where Rivin might have gone. Just then, he came up with a idea. Instead of holding his newly declared torch, showing anyone that he was coming, he let it flought ahead of him, making it seem as if he was farther then he really was.

Rivin saw the fighters were now up in smoke, but he could sence more ships comming, likely landing craft, and likey ready you take on a Sith. So ether way It would still be a good Idea to get out of here before they show up.

Rivin could see a light in the ally comming towards him. and he could sence rognan in the ally. But Rognan was moving slow and keeping a close watch on things. Rivin couldn't tell if the light was where Rognan was or if it was a small distance behind the light, So Rivin went to be on the safe side.

When both the light and the Life essence that he thought might be Rognan, was in the middle of the ally Rivin tosses one of his sabers over the roof of the building he was next to, and uses the force to cause the saber to hover at roof level of the building. He then starts to spin the handle end-over-end and when it is moving very fast he then uses the force to activate the blade.

He pulls the spinning blade through the roof back towards the side of the building he is on, cutting free a chunk of the roof. Once the blade was clear through the the roof on his side, Rivin uses the force again to push the disconected 2 meter long portion of the roof into the allyway, dropping it as close as he could to where he though Rognan should be, some where between the ball of light and the life essence.

More disciplined minds were approaching; reaching out to them, Je'gan implanted unreasoning terror in a handful from each group. The chaos they created should be enough to distract the incoming troops. Not for the first time, Je'gan regretted how slowly his learning seemed to be going. Even though he'd made steady progress, it never seemed to be enough. Not ever.

Rognan was getting close to the end of the alley way with not so much as a glimmer of Rivin. He was close, he knew that. But did he make it out already and he was just wasting his time looking for shadows that were not there? It didn't matter much. When a piece of roof came into the alley above him, his question was answered. Rivin did make it out and was now trying to smash him like a womprat. It was high up, giving him just enough time to do something. But what was he to do? Go after Rivin and what might be a trap, or make sure that he was not sqwished and give Rivin a chance to escape. He couldn't risk either of those options. And as the piece of roof kept coming down at him he was losing his window of opertunity.

With a turn around and a dive, the roof smashed down, sending splinhtering boards and roof material everywhere, not to mention his torch was now gone. He picked himself up and pushed some boards off of his back and turned around to head back out of the alley.

As Rognan comes out of the alley Rivin attacks, activating his lightsabers again and attack what ever he see's leave the alley first, with his left saber swinging high towards his head, and his right saber doing what ever it can to hit anywhere on Rognan's lower body.

Some of the troops were starting to panic, but most of the troops were still comming, now most of them were out of the landing crafts and heading his way.

[Je'gan Olra'en]

The landing craft had landed, and their ramps were disgorging disciplined soldiers. Je'gan moved to take cover behind a durable stone wall. His mind reached out and touched those of the more professional soldiers. In large part, those were officers.

His touch became an iron clamp as he slipped through their discipline with ease and took full control of their minds in half the time it took the troops to cover the distance between the dropships and the village. The officers barked orders into helmet comms, orders to withdraw. The Jedi, they said, had neutralized the Sith. The orders were to stand down and re-enter the ships.

Rognan was just making his way out of the alley when a red light went right for him. He was at a slow run, just getting over the fallen roof, and he could not stop his speed right away. He activates his saber and ducks under the high attack. But then there was another red light that was lower and coming quickly. Hunched over he hopped over the low slash and went into a forward roll and came to his feet. He turned and could now see Rivin. BUt coming out of the alley had left him half blind as his eye's were re-adjusting from dark to bright light.

Rivin could now hear his speeder on approching him. It was close but not here yet. He still had to hold off for a bit longer.

Rivin spins to face Rognan, slashing upwards with his right saber, attempting to contact at Rognan's left hip and slice him up to the right shoulder, as his left saber comes down towards Rognan's left shoulder.

Rivin looks off towards the troops comming his way. The commanders were ordering a withdraw, but a good chunck of them were ignoreing the orders since it was clear with their own eyes that the Sith had not been taken down, other were going back into the ship and a few were just standing there with a confused look on their face.

The officers began to scream out their orders, and although some soldiers turned back to the landing craft, those who remained were focused on the visible Je'gan and Rivin. Blaster bolts started to fly, not at Rivin - he being too close to Rognan - but at the innocent bystander Olra'en.

Who promptly dove out of the way and turned himself invisible. Blades hissed from their sheaths as he moved towards the troops, avoiding fire with ease. The mind-controlled officers began to fire at their own men. Between the Sith Knight and the surprise attack from the rear, it didn't take long before the vast majority were milling in confusion.

Once again Rivin was at him attacking with both his sabers at the same time. Never at one time could he block both of them. Even if he could, he would then be opened up to some other kind of attack by his other saber. So it was a block and dodge. Doing a 270 degree turn to his left side moving towards Rivin, he ended up with his back to Rivin's sabers. He then threw out his right arm to block the low cut that would have still gotten him while the other went down with no contact. Rog was now close to Rivin. He lashed out with his left elbow at Rivins head before he had time to bring his left saber back to any kind of defense.

Just then he heard shooting and saw a figure going against some ground units. He knew that there was a second one here. But he didn't have time to take care of both of them.

Rognan was quick, and there was just too many things catching his attention. Unfortunatly he didn't see the elbow till it was too late. He takes the blow to his right temple, knocking him back a few steps and causing him to loose his balance and fall onto his rear end.

At the moment all he could see was the world spinning around him, but that would cleer up quickly.

Wasting no time, Rognan turned around the rest of the way and watched as Rivin fell to the ground. There was a small chance of opertunity here, and if he didn't take it, then Rivin would be back and more then ready to fight. Take a few steps forward to close the distance that was lost during Rivin's stumble backwards, Rog spins to his right and goes low, sweeping his blade a few inches off the ground. He was just close enough the the blade would go right through both legs up to the knee.

Rivin gets his sences back together jus as Rognan is closing in on him, and does a backwards roll as Rognan's blades comes down at his legs. The blade misses his legs but cuts his cloke so that it is now only half the length of his body.

Rivin's speeder was now comming in fast, locked onto Rivin's location, due to the homing beacon in his pocket. With Rognan, close on his heals, More troops comming in for a landing, and more snubfighters all comming in. Rivin knew that the time had come to get out of here.

Rivin comes out of his roll back on his feet and goes into a jump bacwards. using the force to guide the bike, Rivin lands on the bike in the driver's position. Rivin then does a quick turn on the bike, doing a saidways skid, kicking up a bunch of dirt going in Rognan's direction, and then Jets off towards Je'gan as if on a collison course, Giving him a heads up through the force that he is leaving, and that if he wishes a ride out of here, now is the time.

Rognan was about to do a follow up attack when suddenly Rivin was on a speeder bike. It was a good transition from the ground to mounting on a vehicle. If he really wanted, Rivin might have tried to run him over. Instead he turned and kicked up dirt as he sped away.

Rog grabbed the edge of his cloak and brought it up around him as he turned around, the dirt hitting his robe with no effect. He came out of the spin and threw his saber at the dissapearing back of Rivin. The blade moved with speed and power behind it as Rog guided it to its target. But with the Force he was not able to catch Rivin. The speeder was to fast and could easily dodge into a alley and the blade would then go blindly through whatever stood in the way. There was no point. Rivin wanted to be away, and there was nothing he could do about it but watch in dispare as his great enemy ran away.
