    Reign - Generations

Time was something Slayn had never put much stock in, but it was always something he had plenty of. He had stopped off on Coruscant to switch ships; He would need something a little more versatile if he was going to find Gav. Slayn made his way down the substreets, the kind of places you can go when you don't want to be found, or followed. He was slowly and subtlety making his way to one of the public spaceports.

Upon his arriving he was greeted by a port official. He was a Twilek male; A real shady looking fellow at that. This port could have been one of many owned and operated by smugglers. Shortly after the Twilek had approached him, a large Gammorean stepped out from a doorway on the right. The Twilek spoke to Slayn, while the pig nervously fingered his blaster.

"What can we help you with?"

He asked in a tone that was less than desirable. Slayn didn't want this to get ugly, not with all the Jedi about. He could feel them everywhere since he left Sharia, and he couldn't have them interfere with his plans. He feared he might have to kill someone he cared for if that was the case.

"I'm fine thank you. I don't need your help, and you will ignore me."

Slayn spoke the words all the while toying with there heads. Forcing them to belive he belonged there. The Twilek looked confused for a minute, but the pig just grunted and made haste walking away. As Slayn entered the first level of the building he felt something odd but couldn't tell what it was.

After passing through the first corridor and taking a very long hallway to the right, Slayn found himself in some kind of loading bay. It was by far the largest he had ever seen, and it was filled with containers, the kind that could be carried by cargo ships. He felt something odd again, the same feeling he felt when he entered the building. He wanted to ignore it, but was overwhelmed; Compelled to open a container. As he made his way toward a group of six containers in particular, a great howl came from both sides.

On his left and right where Gammoreans, one on each. Before Slayn could even think he had begun to twist his body. Spinning to the right, his right arm had already stretched out as if swinging a blade; Simultaneously Eternity had come off his belt and made its way to his right hand. As his body came full circle, the magical saber ignited, and the pig on the right was silenced; His body halved at the waist. Before the upper half of the Gammorean had hit the floor, Slayn shot his left hand out in front of him, and with it the intestines of the dismembered pig flew. They wrapped around the surviving Gammorean and squeezed; In a few moments this one too was dead.

    "... Great..."

The dark Jedi spoke out of frustration, he had wanted to be discreet. Now he risked some ambitious Jedi meddling; But there where more intriguing things at hand...

Slayn thought it was rather odd that the containers weren't locked. With a press of a button the seal was broken and the door slowly opened. His eyes narrowed as the contents began to come into focus, they were women, nearly all Twilek's, the rest where Cathar, and some of a species Slayn didn't recognize. There where ruffly fifty, which would make three-hundred assuming the other containers where filled as well.

Coruscant had only been known to her for a little over a three days now, and still it was unfamiliar. The amnesia was still veiling everything about the person that was known as Jedi Knight Navaria Tarkin. The title and name alone still was clouded and took it upon faith that was her true self. Afterall, why would the Jedi lie? She couldn't be this other being that she had found in the database... A Dark Jedi by the name of Dalethria Mal Pannis? She didn't feel that there was any evil inside of her, but evil never truly reveals itself so easily... does it?

So, to better her chances of regaining some memories, Navaria had taken to walking the strees during the day, and staying near the Jedi at night. Something would have to give eventually... She was just impatient for it to happen. Here was hoping that today was the day...

Only two steps had been taken by her when she gasped loudly in shock and whispered...

    "Who?"

A presence had hit her that was so familiar too her that it stirred her very soul. Never had a sensation like that been felt since she awakened confused, disorientated and completely devoid of memory on the planet of Bakura.

Elation overcame Navaria so quickly that her head began to feel so light and staggered down the next few steps, causing concerned glances from the nearby Jedi. It didn't matter to her what appearances she projected, all she wanted to know was who could make her feel this way and where was this being!

It hit him like that, it forced him to inhale, a deep cool breath that somehow burned his insides. The dark Jedi's eyes dilated, his pupils became twice they're normal size. A deep black circled by a crimson ring. Everything blurred, his senses crazed; However, one thing was very clear.

    "Navaria?!"

He began to calm himself, this push came from her; Was she looking for him? It was so forceful, nothing like the Navaria Slayn had cared for in the past.

The young Cloak was now bent over the container's door, the slave women jostling about in the container. They must had been captive for some time; They had learned better than to try and escape.

After composing himself a bit, Slayn closed his eyes and called for her, he could feel her, she was close. Very close in fact, but changed, scarred and confused; What had happened to her?

The being answered back! But it was more then that... He knew her and Navaria was indeed her name for it was echoed back in such stunned surprised.

Her feet continued to lead her foward without thought, for she was distracted by the luring call of this man.

She knew who this was! Every fiber of her being was telling her this but nothing more. It was disheartening to feel such closeness! A revelation had dropped into her lap and nothing more then a sense of belonging was her reward. She had to find him, and quickly. Nothing had been so familiar with the Jedi, no names, no faces or even the supposed comfort of being in her quarters could produced one shread of true thought.

But whoever was calling her had and Navaria answered as well, strengthening whatever bond had been created ten folds and put words into feelings previous.

    Where are you?

Slayn could feel her emotions as if they were his own, she was so happy, but still strangely dissonant. It was odd, and in fact, Slayn felt this exact way a great deal of the time, but because of this he was greatly excited.

" You can feel me, you know where I am. I'm here, I will wait for you; Come to me."

He easily put his thoughts into her mind, she would have no problem finding him. The desire he could feel from her was to great; Now more than ever the other Jedi were a liability.

The being was still nameless to her, but the incredible need to see her was just as strong as her own. But there was a problem. Strain was starting to show lines in her face. Navaria was still suffering from the effects of whatever encounter caused her amnesia in the first place. Sometimes, it was hard to control others thoughts that were around her.

I can feel you ... but, there are too many minds. It .. hurts..

He could hear her voice crack with pain in his mind.

Tell me, where you are. It would be easier.

He had felt it within the force before, it felt as if something that stung the back the eyes as if straining to hard and your eyes began to tickle at the back of your retina. For the figure at least. Death had been delt it it was easy to tell from where also, a longing sensation built inside the figures body, hooded and cloaked in a dark green cloak, a loniging to be within the cargo decks. he went to the desk, explained who he was and the staff let him pass through, it was as easy as that, perticuly for a person of his stature.

Sure enough he was right, the corpses were found within moments of entering, the figure told the staff the stay back, and they did so.

One of the pigs bodies was rolled over, the halfed one. It did not take a genius to evaluate this was no loading bay accident. It was murder. The slices through the pigs body was deady strait and perfectly accurate, a lightsaber, a darksiders touch.

The hooded figure looked up to view the other deceased gaurd, intestines had been thickly wrapped around the pigs neck and suffercated within seconds, a horrible way to go, the pig had paid the highest price for dealing with a darksider, a grusome death. The figure pressed fingers and thumb against both pigs eyes and closed there eyelids shut, a finalization to their short lived lives.

The hooded and cloaked figure got up, moved quickly to a cargo crate anything from 10 times the size of himself and peeked around the edge of the container, he had within moments found the culprate, whoever he was he was connected to the force, the figure could feel it, searching, seaching for somone...calling. But to whome?

    More of his kin perhaps?

The figure ripped back his hood to reveal light brown shaggy hair and a curious face, it was Kelt Simoson, Jedi Knight. he would wait hidden, signature as low beat as possible and watch him and possibly whomeever he would be calling to. His hand fermly pressed to his saber, the mistly blue blade of Harunde.

The pulse through the Force was enough to knock a Bantha over and it was that same feeling that drew her here this day. Moving with stealth-like attributes, a figure clad in flowing black robes and a hooded cloak made her way along the inside barrier wall of the docking bay. No one was in sight, as the security as well as desk workers had fled the scene just moments before. No sound filled the large area, save for the distant heartbeats of several individuals -- which of course, the Garou's sensitive ears picked up immediatly.

With light step she made her way to another large room where hundreds of canisters rested as well as other freight. There were pallets stacked as tall, if not taller than she, as well as other strange objects covered in white sheets. "What is this?" She thought to herself and then felt it again -- a series of most familiar presences. Quieting her mind, the Lost Jedi Knight felt several pulses once again, all nagging at her perception. It was then she realized the simple identity of those in the room with her. "Two Jedi and -- a strange Darksider -- so familiar somehow."

Taking a step forward and breathing as quietly as possible, her eyes moved over several figures until they came to rest upon a dark one crouched slightly out of view. This one, she gathered through the feeling she got through the Force, was a Jedi. The Darksider and other Jedi remained unseen -- but the Garou Knight knew that she had to take no chances of getting caught by any member of the GJO, if in fact, they were members at all. She didn't go to jail in the first place and she would never be going there, at least, she vowed that to herself. Moving back into the shadows, Xazor leaned against the wall and allowed her eyes to lock on the room before her so that the situation could play itself out. "Today shall prove very interesting indeed."

Estelle awoke, her head feeling heavy and full of cotton as she swung her legs over the edge of the couch to plonk with a thud on the floor of her apartment.

She pushed herself up with effort, and crossed to the refridgeration unit to get herself a chlled glass of orange juice. It was the only thing that seemed to clear her senses after the dreams.

She was recognizing them, when they came, now. Or more correctly, when she woke from them.

This was the third one of Navaria now, and the first to make any coherent sense. Recognizing the dreams, and understanding them were not the same thing, she conceded.

Tipping back her head to let the last of the juice in the glass trickle to her throat, Estelle's fog-headedness was replaced with an unsettling and foreboding uneasiness as she made her way back to sit on the sofa. Her room was quiet, calm. A haven. Yet there was draped about Estelle a wrap of impending danger.

    Navaria was in trouble.

It was not the kind where physical harm was prominent, not if her "dream" was to be believed. It was more...spiritual. Yes, Estelle thought, that was the word for it.

Eyes forward but not really seeing what she was looking at, the Jedi brought again to her mind the events in her dream as she could recall them, gleaning as much detail as possible, making notes on things that struck her as significant..

Slayn could feel the pain in Navaria's mind, it in fact began to effect his. This disturbed the prince to a great degree. This just wont do... He thought to himself as his connection to her became murky. This trip was becoming abruptly capricious. This however, wasn't his only problem, the Dark Jedi had felt something, something odd.

He glanced back over his shoulder toward some crates, he could swear he saw someone. If they made a move he would be more than prepared; At present they would just remain a liability.

Slayn turned his attention back to what had now become his priority, Navaria. She seemed so confused, unsettled and angry. He had to draw her here, losing her wasn't an option. He took in a deep breath, and as he inhaled Slayn amplified his thoughts. Showing Navaria exactly where he was, and reaching out to those who trespassed inside her head. She began to notice people around her collapsing, or grasping their head, complaining of pain, or disorientation. Slayn then spoke in her mind his voice desperate, and serious.

" Navaria hurry, I will help you, come back to me. make great haste, I have your answers..."

Suddenly her thoughts became razor sharp and endlessly clear. She straightened herself upright, not caring about the beings around her in anguish. All that mattered to her, the only priority, was to find him. His name was still elusive to Navaria even with the renewed silence inside her mind. This baffled her as she started running quickly through the streets of Coruscant, following his urgent calls that continued to leave a trail of helpless victims falling to the ground, clutching their heads in pain.

At some point the buildings started to become familiar, only because she too had been her only a week prior. The spaceport was a bustle of activity but still his call was ever clear. Renewed by the prospect of knowing who she was, Navaria made quick haste to the docks where he was leading her...

The detail that seemed to strike Estelle the most from her dream was all the doors.

Navaria was standing, alone, in a dark room. It was not square as rooms usually are, but round, or more acurately, octagonal. It was lined about with doors - most of them closed tightly, but the occasional one was open just a crack letting in diffuse, weak light.

Navaria turned in circles where she stood, examining the doors in dismay. Just as one of the ones that was partially opened caught her focus, there would be a shift in her concentration and she would move to the next. Still standing, turning in place where she was and making no real progress, the Jedi's image began to falter and fade as if she was, in essence, vanishing. The fear and confusion on Navaria's face in Estelle's dream was heart breaking.

Endless circles she turned until one door, one of the opened ones, moved to open wider. The light that was released from with in it was a false light - it's center was dark and untennable - but it was rimmed in an alluring glow which grew stronger and stronger the longer Navaria looked at it. In the dream, Navaria stepped toward the ever widening doorway.

Estelle gasped with fear for what the dream might mean.

She was close, Slayn cloud feel her, taste her very breath on his lips. The Dark Jedi raged with excitement; the prospect of seeing Navaria was always welcome and more so in her present state… It would certainly afford him an interesting opportunity. Just then he felt something, only for a second, but it couldn’t be ignored. He hadn’t been so presumptuous as to believe other Jedi hadn’t felt the disturbance, much less with his cleansing of the minds around Navaria. His senses were on fire and still, he couldn’t spot them; He would mindfully shrug them off for now… Letting them believe there presence went unnoticed.

She rounded a corner, quickly, almost out of breath. Beads of sweat had pooled upon her forehead, threatening to fall down at any moment. Her eyes were frantic, searching wildly for Slayn. His mind was becoming so perfectly clear that Navaria had to be close to dock where he was located.

Excitement was begining to boil over inside, anticipation had caught her breath and she was forced to exhale when she felt him truly. He was near, only meters away and quickly she took off in a run... straight towards Slayn...

The risk involved here was obvious. Slayn had gone from cautious to widely unreasonable, but it would be worth it. He could vividly remember her smell, and would never forget her smile. Navaria's presence was absolutely intoxicating, clouding the Dark Jedi's judgment; Just as it had when he received her care. Lost in thought of individual right and wrong, Navaria's state of being, and the opportunity that might afford.

    " eh...? sigh. "

And there she was, scared and hopeful. Absolutely brimming with possibility; For the first time maybe open to the many she could control. As Slayn processed the vary last of his thoughts, he could do little more than open his arms to her. He did so and hurried to meet her, sprinting up to her. He embraced her with his arms, while holding her he spoke with great sincerity. His soft spoken words leaving his lips, he whispered in her ear:

    " I'm so very glad you're ok... "

As Xazor sat watching the situation unfold before her, she began to realize what was going on. Through much gossip, the Jedi Knight had been told of her dear friend, Navaria, and all of the trouble she had been going through. It broke the woman's heart to know of the struggle that her fellow Jedi was experiencing, having gone through it her self.

Suddenly Navaria was rushing toward the Darksider, and instead of turning from him, she was falling into his arms. "Navaria!" Xazor rose to her feet from her crouched position and shouted, accidentally giving away her cover. She had not meant to be noticed, and in fact, saying the other woman's name was purly by accident.

The Garou's face flushed red as she attempted to hide herself behind a large crate, but it was no use as now all of the attention was brought to her through stupidity. "Way to go, ace!" She scolded herself mentally as her heart pounded with anticipation. With the Jedi that were there, and even the Dark One, so many things could go down. The last thing she wanted was to be caught, again.

Estelle paced her room, knowing action was required, but not knowing what action exactly.

Her trepidation that Navaria was at grave risk was only heightened by her own inability to prevent it.

She had no direct link to her fellow Jedi, no close association that would help her touch her mind gently and call Navaria a warning.

    Call a warning...

Estelle stopped midstep and her eyes locked on the communicator unit on her bedside table.

    Call...

Crossing into the next room hurriedly, Estelle pressed a button on the unit, connecting her with the main interchange.

"Page me through to Navaria Tarkins personal comm. Immediately. Yes, this is Estelle Russard -- do as I tell you. Thats right, Navaria Tarkin"

Anxious seconds passed as the beep echoed time and again on Navs comm, the innocuous sound insistent and determined.

"Theres no answer" interjected a sterile droid voice.

"Keep trying" was Estelles curt reply.

She hugged him closer to soak up his familiarity, in shock that this was happening. Navaria giggled unexpectantly as she buried her face into Slayn's shoulder, recognizing his scent, and sighed as his words barely touched her ears.

"I'm not completely okay as you know, but..." She pulled back to look at Slayn's face, fixing his hair that had become misplaced, "... I think I'm..." She was cut off at the sound of a woman's voice, one that Navaria did not recall. Anger was beginning to take hold that someone was here and interrupting her and Slayn!

"Who dares?!" Her eyes frantically scanned the area as her mind reached out with the force to find this individual, unaware that her comm unit was going off inside the pocket of her robe.

Xazor cursed herself once again as she felt Navaria's anger flare up inside of her. "No! It isn't supposed to happen this way!" The Garou thought as she moved into the light once again. "It is I, Xazor -- don't you remember me?" The Knight called out to Navaria, hoping to get some response. Nothing came and she sighed.

It was quite a risk for her to be stepping out like this with the knowledge that any Jedi from the Order could legally take her into custody and turn her over to the NR. "You were a mentor to me so long ago -- you helped me in times of difficulty in my life." She spoke gently, advancing slightly toward the pair. "You were -- a friend to me." The words touched the other Jedi's ears gently.

Pausing in step, the young woman stood with her eyes fixed upon Navaria's face, recalling days when she had spent hours attempting to fix the problems in her life. They had gone through a lot together, and now it all seemed lost. "You gave me hope when I had none. Surly you must know who I am -- remember? Xazor Dawnstrider?"

Slayn felt the greatest of pleasures; holding her like this was... desirable . He didn't pay much attention to the communicator, but remembered Xazor. This provoked a statement from the young prince.

" She speaks the truth, she's too pure to ever lie to you."

His fingertips traced down her ear, then he slid his palm across her cheek.

" She's not the only interloper present, you can be certain we're not alone."

Slayn then gestured to Xazor lifting his hand, and probing her mind.

"...Even you it seems aren't welcome here Xazor; Perhaps you should join us? It's of no consequence to me, you could fair just as well with the Jedi, I suppose..."

He turned his attention back to Navaria and spoke again.

" We should leave, the air here is getting a little too thin for my liking; We can catch up once we're alone... and you're safe."
