Character Background
- Born in Brittany, in the Locronan area. Parents were human Celts, father of Irish lineage, and Breton mother.
- Roxane stayed with her parents until the late 1480s, when Brittany was force to submit to the French crown. She moved to Ireland, to be with her father's family, where Fae relatives put her in contact with other Bastets to learn how to develop her gifts and reign in her challenging species traits.
- Due to the Ceilican restlessness, she moved across Ireland and Great Britain for several centuries, as well as several stays in France, which also allowed her to escape being eradicated as most of her species was.
- In the early 21st century, she was able to stabilize in London, UK, although she has continued traveling off the grid at least once a year to avoid madness.
- Owner of the Moonstone Cafe (corner of Weighhouse and Binney Streets, London, UK), which she opened in 2010. Both bookshop and cafe, the Moonstone Cafe is a place promoting studies of the occult, besides providing delicious pastries. It lalso has a back area, operating as a bar, where live bands come to play at times.
Raw Material
- She is one of the last Ceilican Bastets.
- She exhibits many traditional Ceilican traits, such as the fear of cold iron, proficiency in blade-wielding (especially daggers), strong interest and long-lasting practice of magic.
- While her tribe often changes Pryio, she most often cycles through Twilight and Nighttime Pryio (her original one).
- Her normal cat form (domestic looking cat, but the size of a small panther) is a long-haired golden shaded one.
- Her birth name is Aodrena Ní Leocháin. She chose her current name around the time of the Ceilican massacre during the 16th century.
Plot Ideas
- Meet other Bastets / Garous (whether preexisting relationships or new ones)
- Continue building the customer base / supporters of the Moonstone Cafe (especially as a way to connect with other supernatural individuals)
Existing Relationships
- Maalik: Roxane met him during one of her stays in Paris around the times of the Ceilican massacres. They relate to each other and while they haven't met in a few centuries, she still has great respect for him.
