  1. Lifted a weight, got swole overnight, please advise

    A year and a half ago I was squatting 135lbs, and deadlifted 195lbs.

    Now...not so much.

    Wednesday's Workout:
    Barbell Squat
    - 45 lb x 5 reps
    - 65 lb x 5 reps
    - 65 lb x 5 reps
    - 65 lb x 5 reps
    - 65 lb x 5 reps
    - Pathetically weak, but that's what I get for taking a year and a half off I guess!
    Barbell Bench Press
    - 45 lb x 5 reps
    - 45 lb x 5 reps
    - 50 lb x 5 reps
    - 55 lb x 5 reps
    - 60 lb ...

  2. So, I used to work out...

    ...and I haven't since last June. We bought a house, moved far away from my gym, and the garage gym is buried under my husband's work crap. I've been eating FAIRLY well, but my protein intake is way too low. I haven't gained any weight though! Hooray!

    Anyway, I used to have a workout log on SA, but I figured I'd continue the tradition here.

    Goals:
    • complete half marathon with husband
    • get back into a lifting program
