It had been a slow day at Café Raduli and Zenoma had been ready to call it quits the moment she started, but she needed the measly tips and paycheck and thus reminded herself that while this could be a droids position all she needed to do was simply smile and pretend to care in order to be paid. Coming out from the back kitchen she set down matching plates of unappetizing meat lumps in front of the only two patrons; a pair of Ongidaes who sniffed and snorted at the meal with their upturned noses before looking at her.

“Is there anything else I can get you?” They just shook their head and set to eating. She grit her teeth and departed towards the hostess stand where the only other person she cared to interact with was managing. Dramatically throwing an elbow onto the counter, she leaned into it and tilted her head to eye her friend. “Wanna bet the washing of the floors on whether they tip or not?”

“Nope, you always win,” Kyalin responded without looking up from her task on her datapad.

“Fine. But you’re no fun.” Zanoma glanced out the large open doors of the café, towards the bustling streets. It was still early in the day, so it was expected that business would be slow and while she could be doing other chores to keep herself occupied, she would have much rather just been bored and complained about it. Or wished something exciting happened.

“Why don’t you go stock the back room?” Kyalin offered, as if reading her thoughts. Zenoma gave an unimpressed expression and didn’t respond. She had a feeling something was about to come her way… After all things in Canto Bight rarely stayed dull for long.

It wasn't really his first trip to Cantonica, and certainly not his first visit to Canto Bight, but it was always lovely each time he visited. There was always something new to take in, something fresh to experience. And with a good bit of downtime on his schedule, Zeno knew that he would be enjoying the fast-paced wheeling and dealing that went on here. Of course, before a body chose to partake in the high-speed repulsar lanes, they needed to dip into the middle aisle for something mid-tier. Something of a primer. Something that would whet the appetite.

It was why he chose Café Raduli. Tucked away, unassuming, a nice port to take refuge in before the wild storm.

Stepping through the doorway, he rolled his shoulders out of habit. A quick tick of his neck to one side let out a sharp crack, and he stepped up to the hostess stand without a second though.

It was easy enough to see that business was on a down-tick at the moment, since one of the servers was camped out with the hostess.

With a brief grin, he let his eyes shift from the server to the hostess. Her nametag told him that her name was Kyalin.

"Looking for a table, Ms. Kyalin."
