Zenoma

It had been a slow day at Café Raduli and Zenoma had been ready to call it quits the moment she started, but she needed the measly tips and paycheck and thus reminded herself that while this could be a droids position all she needed to do was simply smile and pretend to care in order to be paid. Coming out from the back kitchen she set down matching plates of unappetizing meat lumps in front of the only two patrons; a pair of Ongidaes who sniffed and snorted at the meal with their upturned noses before looking at her.
“Is there anything else I can get you?” They just shook their head and set to eating. She grit her teeth and departed towards the hostess stand where the only other person she cared to interact with was managing. Dramatically throwing an elbow onto the counter, she leaned into it and tilted her head to eye her friend. “Wanna bet the washing of the floors on whether they tip or not?”
“Nope, you always win,” Kyalin responded without looking up from her task on her datapad.
“Fine. But you’re no fun.” Zanoma glanced out the large open doors of the café, towards the bustling streets. It was still early in the day, so it was expected that business would be slow and while she could be doing other chores to keep herself occupied, she would have much rather just been bored and complained about it. Or wished something exciting happened.
“Why don’t you go stock the back room?” Kyalin offered, as if reading her thoughts. Zenoma gave an unimpressed expression and didn’t respond. She had a feeling something was about to come her way… After all things in Canto Bight rarely stayed dull for long.
