Decided he'd walk away from the Jedi Order (fake death) after the debacle with Arath Tarrex (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Arath_Tarrex) and how the High Council made Master Braylon (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Yula_Braylon) step down. It was his revelation of the hypocrisy in the Jedi Code. [75+ BBY]
