Born in London, UK, to English mother Barbara Dormer-Desclun, and French father Philippe Desclun in 2224.
She has two older siblings, twins Michael and Nadia, born in 2220.
The family moved to France when Alice was three years old.
She graduated from high school at 16, earned her bachelor at 20, and her PhD at 26.
She has been in charge of Medlab Four (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Medlab) (located in the Red Sector (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Red_Sector)) on Babylon 5 Station since 2256.
Raw Material
Holds a Bachelor in Engineering from (Universite Paris 6, Pierre et Marie Curie), and a dual MPhil/Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Imaging, along with Linguistics, from King's College London.
Her wife's death during the Battle of the Line happened in the final stage of Alice's doctoral studies, taking a toll on her mental health; but she graduated Cum Laude and chose to work away from Earth afterwards, needing time to rebuild.
She worked at the medlab of Tau Ceti IV after graduating, when the new Earth Alliance colony was established in 2249 after the Earth/Minbari war, at the border of Narn and Centauri space.
She returned to Earth in early 2254 to work at Institut Pasteur in Paris, France.
Was part of the original medical team assembled for Babylon 5 (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Babylon_5), starting to work there in spring 2256.
Her work ethic is impeccable; but she avoids Minbari outside of work, due to her wife's death.
Alice loves cats, and currently owns Emi, the daughter of Asha, the late cat her wife and her adopted shortly before getting married.

The Desclun family - Alice's parents currently live in the Mars Colony, her father a retired professor, and her mother a computer scientist. Her siblings are still on Earth, Michael working as a diplomatic attache, and Nadia as an artist.
Dr. Lillian Hobbs (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Babylon_5) - They met at Institut Pasteur in Paris and worked together in 2254-2255. Alice worked as Dr. Hobbs's imagery specialist on a year-long project. Dr. Hobbs was among those supporting Alice's application to join the Babylon 5 medical team.
Dr. Benjamin Kyle (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Benjamin_Kyle) - Alice worked with Babylon 5's first Chief Medical Officer during the first 2 years of the station's operations. They became friends and remain in contact.
Dr. Stephen Franklin (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Stephen_Franklin) - Alice has met and collaborated with Dr. Kyle's successor on several occasions; but has so far not forged a friendship with him akin to the one she has with his predecessor.
Emilie Desclun [RIP] - Alice's deceased wife, Captain Desclun was a member of the Earth Alliance Navy who died during the Battle of the Line (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Battle_of_the_Line) in 2248, after 5 years of marriage.
Duncan Westcliff - Alice's ex-boyfriend (2250-2253). They met on Tau Ceti IV, while Alice worked on the development of new multilingual and multi-species diagnostic tools, and Duncan as a Logistics Specialist. Duncan suffered from a severe accident when inspecting a construction site. He volunteered for experimental clinical trials in hope to regain some mobility and sufficient pain management. Alice was wary of the scientists and lobbies behind those clinical trials; but Duncan insisted to do it. but the side effects left him with brain damage and memory loss. The private labs that conducted those research projects were forced to terminate their research a year after.
Na'Toth (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Na%27Toth) - Alice met the Narn diplomatic attache during her time on Tau Ceti IV. They became allies and eventually friends. Even though they didn't meet often, Na'Toth happened to be the one Alice confided in most about Duncan's situation when she (rightfully) thought the shady clinical treatments were too much of a risk. They have been casual sex partners on a sporadic basis, even as Na'Toth joined Babylon 5 to work with Ambassador G'Kar (https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/G%27Kar).
