Something I've been kicking around for 9 years. Best I can call it is the beginning of something that might ultimately have echos of Catcher in the Rye and The Bell Jar. Though I'm not a fan of either of those books. Right now if feels like a beginning prologue to me. Sort of wanting to test the waters with this start as all the others felt like cliche whining full of tropes after I wrote them.

How long is this thing and what kinda thing is this thing?

A page and a halfish, if that. Currently, in 1st person. I'm looking to share it via pm with people who are interested, then get the person's thoughts back from it. I want to test it's opening legs. I want it poked at a bit to see if it twitches.

Final form and length of this thing is uncertain, I'm taking a page from Stephen King and just letting it go where it wants right now.
