Kordin Sector / Abridon - Captial city

It was uncommon for an agent to be called away from active duty, yet in the case of Agent Lovelace it was more common than she would prefer. The timing was not always ideal, but this time it had occurred while she was between missions. It was time for another visit to the Medical Center, where the doctor that had always looked after her worked. 'Check-ups', he'd called them when she had been younger. For her, it was just business as usual. She did not mind the trips to Abridon really. The doctor was one of the first people she had seen after her parents deaths, and the most constant presence in her life since. It did not make him family, just...maybe the closest thing?

Stepping out from the speeder, she paid the fare and looked up at the high rise before her. She had spent a lot of time here as a child, that much she knew, but it was all a little fuzzy. Probably just the way all people remembered their childhood.

Approaching the security at the doors, Adalinde was scanned in, identity verified. "Agent Lovelace. Floor 82, medical offices."

After being allowed through, she made her way to the lifts and upward. That the place did not look like other medical facilities that she had visited did not register to her. It was too familiar, too known to her. It was just as it should have been to her eyes.

Stepping off the lift, she made her way down the hall, bright with sterile whites and greys. Stopping at the desk, she announced herself to the droid receptionist, and took a seat.

Agent Lovelace was not kept waiting long. Her arrival was always punctual, to the point of predictable. The doctor appreciated such qualities in his patients. It was noted in Ms. Lovelace's file: Patient is very accurate. Likely, the notation had to do with something other than the patient's ability show up on time.

Just beyond the reception area, a young nurse straightened the starchy white cap upon her head. She had been told that in time wearing it would become tedious and she would eventually stop. She had graduated three years ago, and thus far preferred to wear it. It reminded people who she was. She liked that. Satisfied that all was in crisp white order, Nurse Verdelet tapped the doors controls, which slid open revealing the waiting room.

"Agent Lovelace." She did not have to guess which patient she was ushering to the examination room. Adalinde was the only person present, and not unfamiliar to her.

"Right this way. I hope you have not been waiting long.", she said, turning to enter the hall and direct the agent. A grin formed. Caressa knew the agent had only just sat down.

Once within the nicely appointed, very clean examination room. Caressa halted just inside the door. Dr. Verdelet wanted to attend to this patient himself, as usual.

"The doctor will be with us very soon, Agent Lovelace."
