Adding one last hair pin to adjust her pale braids, Saranka stared at her reflection for a moment. The small boudoir where she was getting ready to wander across the House of the Red Mother, where she would find either leisure or her next rich customer, as was tradition Kurh'n'ta'a Kris Bonnie. Some might look down upon her work, but she was a proud kurh'n'da. She was the last of her birth house, and thus remained Turila Savigny, as she had been allowed to by her adoptive family. When a teenager, she had lost the rest of her family, and had become a ward of House Tankreyd, eventually being formally brought into the family.

It had been five years her planet's leader had chosen her to work for the Red Mother, Ducha Wlady wanting to strengthen her bonds with the establishment's owner. House Tankreyd had complied, and Saranka herself had enjoyed her new life tremendously. Cunning at heart, and naturally used to adapt, given her past, she had become a reliable and highly entertaining Fifth Daughter. She loved learning secrets, and she loved manipulating people, even when it meant serving them so they got the best return on their money.

A mischievous grin on her lips, she winked at her reflection and got to her feet. She chose to remain barefoot for the afternoon, slender but strong fingers smoothing her ivory attire (https://i.imgur.com/gNjwMyE.jpg). Having no particular booked visitor for now, she could remain comfortable and with the garments of her choice.

She soon left the room, hearing music, laughter, and moans across the hallway, coming from different rooms, whether with closed or open doors. Earlier in the week, she had been requested to help train some of those many clueless Hapan male youngsters. No wonders many of their wives remained regular visitors here. Even when training certain Hapan men well, they could remain less than stellar, and not for lack of good and thorough education.

Humming a tune to herself, Saranka eventually wandered to another aisle of the building, finding a room filled with mixed assembly. She recognized some of the other Fifth Daughters, including a couple in training, as well as a few visitors. All eyes fell upon her the moment she stepped inside. A natural when attention rested upon her, she moved with feline grace across the room, slowly but surely, as her gaze rested upon a man she had briefly seen around before but had never spoken to.
