Jesse Lockhart

Delores "Jesse" Lockhart nee Buchanan
Thirty :: Human :: Blackrock Raiders :: Baroness, Outlaw
Currently Located: Blackrock, Longwind
Character Background:
Blackrock used to be a prominent mining town until the industry dried up and textiles took over as the primary export of Longwind. The mine was closed and work became scarce in Blackrock. Many of it's citizens stubbornly clung to their hometown and refused to leave. The town fell into poverty, crime, and substance abuse.
Even as a child Delores Buchanan was unwilling to accept the fate she was given and was always on the lookout for the next big break that would improve her quality of life. Naturally, she fell into a life of crime.
Delores showed a naturally propensity for violence, sweet talking, and driving swoop bikes. She moved from gang to gang, never standing still for long and developing a reputation as an opportunistic backstabber.
Eventually she got bored with the scene on Longwind and left the planet behind to continue her life of crime on many other planets. She took on the name Jesse, a name she thought was much cooler than her birth name.
During this period she became more of a conwoman and her modus operandi was using marriage to take advantage of men. Her husbands had a reputation for dying shortly afterwards and all their possessions fell to her.
Many years and several marriages later, Jesse returned to Blackrock. This time as part of another scheme in which she married Reginald Lockhart, an elderly but rich baron who's family controlled much of the area in and around Blackrock. He died shortly after of old age and left everything to his new wife.
Originally meant to be a quick turn around, Jesse had second thoughts and instead used her new position of wealth and power to revitalize the dead town by uniting the many gangs into the Blackrock Raiders; who would raid far and wide to bring goods back to Blackrock to keep it's populace afloat.
Raw Material:
Jesse does not like being referred to by her birth name. Users are often immediately shot.
The Blackrock Raiders operate a squadron of Skipray Blastboats, using the ion cannons to disable ships before boarding. The flagship is Jesse's Black Betty.
During a particularly wild trip to Canto Bight with her sometimes partner Ben Merasska, the two became incredibly inebriated and got married by a Darth Vader impersonator. Neither of the two remember the event, but Jesse does have a holo from the ceremony to prove it's existence.
Nothing is ever good enough for Jesse. She always wants the very best of everything but quickly grows bored and her attention wanders. She can never stay focused for long and absolutely hates being denied what she wants.
Ever the vane one, Jesse had her hair and eyes changed to white and red to make herself stand out. Her trademark mole is also fake.
Plot Ideas:
Jesse runs into her old flame Ben Merasska. Shenanigans ensue.
Existing Relationships:
Ben Merasska - Occasional partner in crime and playful rival. Husband. "A fetching man if I ever met one. Pity we always end up shooting at each other."
Current Plots:
