Avdid Asm
Jan 13th, 2018, 08:42:47 PM
CHARACTER NAME
Age 20 :: Nationality/Faction/Group - none :: Occupation - working customer service at a technology firm
Currently in: Circarpous IV
Character Background
Avdid was sent from Hok by his community, fearing his emerging Force sensitivity would draw the attention of the Empire.
He bounced around the inner rim, and eventually ended up on Coruscant.
In a disastrous and desperate attempt to infiltrate the Jedi Temple, he was captured by The Inquisitorious.
He was freed from an Imperial prison transport when a Rebel strike force hit it, searching for several high-priority prisoners.
Raw Material
Avdid has no devotion to any particular dogma. He knows only legends of the Jedi.
He has procured at least one holocron, from which he has gleaned just the most easily accessed information.
He has no formal training. What force abilities he has are unfocused and reckless -- generally focused on manipulation of the mind.
He is not at all agile and rather out of shape.
Plot Ideas
He is currently searching for a legendary crystal (the Kaiburr Crystal) that he just discovered was recovered long ago by Luke Skywalker. Believing the crystal could unlock untold power, he now needs to follow the Skywalker's path. My current idea is to discover the whereabouts of the Rebel base at which Luke was stationed prior to dying at the Battle of Endor (likely Haven Base at Arbra), hoping to find further clues there. To that end, I'm thinking perhaps a heist-type adventure in which a Republic intelligence installation is infiltrated and the information retrieved from a secure database. So we'd need a slicer (Avdid), pilot, hired guns, forgers of credentials, Republic adversaries, etc.
Seeking out said crystal on Arbra.
Hunting down ancient Jedi artifacts/codexes/temples/libraries.
Hunting down ancient Sith artifacts/codexes/temples/libraries.

several low-level workers at the technology firm at which he works
