In game Time: 6 Years BBY.
Player Characters (Level 10) -
Clawdite Female - Ex-CorSec Agent Crimson
Wookie Male - Krog
Human Jedi Male - Lerosh
Mandalorian Deathwatch Female NPC - Janga
Summary: Picking up from where we left off last time, Crimson was struggling against the grip of the Nightsister Marya after she had rejected the offered apprenticeship. Janga was on her way to help Crimson while Lerosh and Krog finished off the last of the Sith Hounds that Marya had dispatched to slay them.
Crimson gained some respite after Marya failed to maintain her concentration on her Force Grip. At about this moment Janga arrived and engaged the Nightsister. Between pistol shots from both the Ex-CorSec Agent and the Deathwatch Commando, Marya was wounded and forced to retreat inside of the Sith Temple to recuperate. To ward off her enemies in the meantime, Marya dispatched the last of her minions, composing of a pair of Terentateks and a monstrosity of unknown origin.
While Lerosh had been running to join his companions on the other side of the Cavern Lake, Krog had initially stayed behind. But upon the emergence of the Terentateks, whom had issued forth a challenging bellow, Krog answered the call of the enemy, albiet by using a different mode of transportation; by climbing the ceiling of the immense cavern over the lake instead of going around it.
Wounded during the fight with the Nightsister, Crimson abandoned Janga to face the Terentateks alone while trying to link up with Lerosh, but she ran afoul of the Monstrosity which burst forth from the ground, sapping her force energies as it grappled her. Running up, Lerosh swiftly slew the monstrosity with a pair of slashes from his lightsaber. In the meantime, after taking a damaging bit from one of the Sith Rancors, Janga used her jetpack to escape their grasp, but not before leaving behind her belt of ten thermal detonators, which detonated and killed both of the beasts instantly.
Using Crimson's stolen Force Energy, the Sith Crystal atop the Pyramid started pulsing before unleashing a wave of hatred and force lightning across the cavern, knocking Crimson unconscious and wounded most of the rest of the party. While the party was recuperating, Nightsister Marya re-emerged from the Sith Temple, fully rejuvenated. Immediatly she launched a wave of force lightning at the closest foe, hitting and wounding Janga. While Lerosh was still rushing forward to help, Marya unleashed her force whip on Janga, scoring a critical hit that killed the Deathwatch Commando.
Unseen from above, Krog descended upon the Nighsister from the sky. Initially planning to strike upon the Sith Crystal, Krog instead shifted his aim to Marya after the latter emerged from the Temple. Bellowing a mighty roar, Krog brought his vibroaxe down onto Marya, scoring a mighty blow that knocked the Nightsister down onto her back, with Krog sitting atop her, his Vibroaxe buried into her left shoulder. Although arriving next turn, Lerosh needed only watch as Krog, shrugging off the effects of Force Lightning, finished off Marya once and for all by ripping her arms out of her sockets.
With the death of the Nightsister, the Sith Temple started to collapse, with the Sith Crystal losing its color and shattering into a million fragments. Carrying the body of their fallen Deathwatch companion, Krog and Lerosh fled off the temple in time.
With the collapse of the Temple, a spectral image of a long fallen Jedi appeared above its remains; Bastila Shan, who's figure the now unconscious Crimson had seen previously inside, appeared in force spirit form and congratulated the party on slaying the Sith presence here and restoring Balance to Kresh VII. Using what was left of the Jedi Energies from the old destroyed Jedi Temple, Bastila collapsed the roof of the cavern, burying the lake that was a wellspring of force power, providing a means for them to escape the underworld. In addition, not only was Crimson restored to full health, but the spiders that had been corrupted wove several threads of their silk together into a few bundles, providing the players with enough stealth silk to cover the hull of one ship of 100 meters or less in stealth armor.
Upon emerging from the underworld of Kresh VII, the party was expecting to come under Imperial Attack, but instead Alliance Starfighters and ships greeted them. Their old friend, Commander Shasta'Vale (Purple Female Twi'Lek) greeted them and explained that after the Imperial Fleet had finished ransacking Kresh City that they had left a small garrison and departed. Task Force Hawbat, in company with Task Forces Independence and Maria, had arrived in response to the distress calls, overran the small Imperial Garrison, and started searching for survivors from the Imperial Attack.
