Mr. Slate
62 :: Guardian :: Arbiter
Currently on: Figaro
Character Background:
Mr. Slate is a member of the Guardian race, the former slaves turned conquerors of the Lupine race. As such his primary motivation is the extinction of the Lupines.
The Arbiters are the highest law keepers within the Guardian culture. As interpreters of the law they are able to make on the spot decisions to settle disputes. Their word is literally law.
Mr. Slate has specialized in looking inward on his brothers and sisters. He personally investigates those who had fallen from the path, and will punish them if necessary. Executions are not uncommon.
Raw Material:
His profession sets him against his fellow Guardians quite often. He has specialized his force abilities to give him an edge at disabling and, if necessary, killing his brothers and sisters. His signature is the ability to sever his opponent's connection to the force temporarily, leaving them in a more vulnerable state. From there he employs his mastery of Force Weapon and Darkshear to defeat them from close range or far.
He is incredible ruthless in combat. He gives no quarter, preferring to end an encounter as quickly as possible.
His advancing age is beginning to get to him, slowing him down and forcing him to employ other Guardians to support him. He travels with a small squad when traveling beyond the borders of Figaro.
One of his eyes was permanently destroyed when he was blinded by a powerful flash of light by Mr. White; another Arbiter that Slate arrested after Mr. White began to exhibit, according to Slate, symptoms of insanity.
Plot Ideas:
Interactions with his fellow Guardians.
Confrontations with Renegade Guardians and Lupines.
Existing Relationships:
Ms. Non - a member of his his personal guard.
Mr. Feint - An annoying rival of opinion who became a renegade. Priority Number One. Kill On Sight.
Current Plots:
Mr. Slate is currently tracking a Guardian who fled the system after being investigated for irregularities in his report after being involved in an attack on a Lupine Family.
