Existing Relationships

Other than clients, no current relationships... she's a loner

Current Plots

Knows her temper is a bit hotter (and vicious) than normal. Has been told by a Force User that her sensitivity to the Force could draw her down a dark path is not careful. Rather than being drawn down it, she's running. Heard that Korriban is the original home of the Sith. Has gone there to discover a path for her future... and maybe her past.

***
Jinsala was born in space. Her parents had been mappers. They moved around the galaxy mapping space routes for various and assorted groups that hired them. Her father's dad and mom had been the ones who had helped update several of the currently used star maps for traveling lanes and boarders in several sectors.

Jins inherited her parents small ship when they passed. While the accounts were usually taken care of by others in the business, she still had a set of clients loyal to her folks who she kept regular updates with and checked on to maintain their charts for boundary and movement contracts.

Background

Darn and Kaylar, her parents, were mappers as well. Darn, her father, had been raised as one by his parents who were the responsible for the updates on some of the most recent travel and trade lanes used by both the Empire and the Republic even today.

Kaylar had been raised on Corellia and was part of a production company that passed on the maps for sale. Darn and her had fallen in love with all the times he had visited there and when she was of age, she joined his family on the ship. They were married in time and Jins came along later. They alternated seasons in space with seasons on the planet to give Jinsala the best of both family's lives.

At 15, Jins chose to stay on the ship with her grandparents more than on the planet with her folks. By the time she was 18, her folks had joined them permanently as well with the aging of her grandfather. At the age of 19, while exploring one of the systems near Cloud City, there was a horrible accident. A meteor storm that hadn't been charted rained down on them like the fabled gods of some old primitive culture. Though everyone made it into their suits, there was a critical hit and her grandparents and mother were sucked into space. Her father and her had been tied in on an opposite bulkhead and remained in the partially ripped apart ship.

As her father tied a tether to his suit to try and make it to the controls to return them to Cloud City, his own suit was slammed into by debris and he was killed. Pulling the tether line in, Jins had no choice but to release his body into space as well. She tied herself off, and managed to get the controls to bring her back to the point where rescue ships were able to grab and rescue her and what remained of the ship.

Her own body was bruised and battered to the point that it took several healers nearly five days to set the bones and set her on a path to healing. She was told her limbs would never support her again and she wouldn't be able to have the strength to continue her family business. She refused to believe that.

It had taken her nearly a full year of hard work, therapy, and stubbornness, but she was walking by the next summer.

A small note for Korriban. It is currently under control of a splinter faction of Imperials. There are no active Sith academies or any active force practices.

In orbit you'll find an Imperial fleet around a space station. All official visitors pass through the stations customs before being permitted to land on the planet. There is no blockade though, so those with small ships and a keen piloting sense can sneak passed the station.

On the planet the city of Dreshdae has been made the main port for trade. After a cleansing of the population by the renegade Imperials the city has been rebuilt and expanded upon. Leading the Imperials in the sector is a character known as Hera, Queen of Korriban.

There are no active Sith run facilities on the planet at this time. Known tomes are guarded with varying degrees of importance. From well known crypts with active storm trooper contingents to lesser tomes with minor probe droid sweeps. That said, there can be plenty of other tomes and secrets not yet unearthed for adventurers to discover!

Have fun!

Oh, don't let the Imperial presence dissuade you! It's entirely possible. I was just laying out background information in case you were going there.

Unless you were going there to find active Sith, in which case yeah, probably not going to find any one chillin' about. But if you were there to break into tomes or talk to locals. All that's easy peezy. You could even write up finding some old Sith hermit hiding out somewhere. Or maybe a secret society of Sith that slink about avoiding the Imperial patrols and what not. It's all possible!

I'll have to take you up on that, Tear... maybe someone who he runs into (or vice versa) if you are interested.
