Darth Acera

I realized today that I really miss writing Acera. There's something very enjoyable about writing creepy evil with solid motivations, and I had a lot of fun before, so I'd like to recapture the magic in some form or another.

Thankfully I have quite a bit to build from, despite 'Acera' being exorcised.

First, we have Darth Decepis drawing a Sith glyph on her forehead with the ashes of his own copied writings of Ancient Sith teachings. (https://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?21174-The-One-True-Sith&p=345752&viewfull=1#post345752)

And in the very next post, her body absorbs the ashes which begin to invade her body like a plague. (https://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?21174-The-One-True-Sith&p=345754&viewfull=1#post345754)

Skip forward a decent amount of time, and those very same ashes are expelled thanks to Sol Iman. (https://theholo.net/forum/showthread.php?55452-All-That-Remains-The-Breath-of-Life&p=1026581&viewfull=1#post1026581)

Now.

Those remnants vanished, carried off to who knows where. They were cast out, so now they have nothing. No body, nothing. BUT. They want to come back. They want revenge for what was stolen from them. Acera lives, but it is tenuous at best right now. She holds hatred for her own self for casting her out; for Sol, for Zem, for Decepis for his betrayal; her continued ethereal existence is sustained by hatred and rage over the knowledge that she was pushed out and not allowed the eternal life that had been promised her. A vengeful wraith that demands retribution, she wants nothing more than to destroy those who denied her. Her ultimate goal is to reclaim her original body, and take back her children. She is a mother torn from her young. A wife scorned and thrown aside.

But, she needs a body to do so, and one gifted in Sith Alchemy to give her that body.

For all alchemic needs, look no further. Ezra is a gifted Sith Alchemist, having trained underneath the noted Sith Alchemist Baralai Lotus. It is all he knows and all he does. His art has been most devoted into created sithspawn monsters, but he has dabbled into the more necromantic aspects in the past, having animated two corpses into zombies. I'm sure he could be of service to this endeavor. The pursuit of knowledge and experience is motivation enough for Ezra. He doesn't desire power. Only to meddle with the building blocks of life.

oOo exciting!

Tear is actually fairly studious when it comes to Sith Alchemy, learning from his apprentice Baralai (who written with a foremost knowledge in the field). That said, my body isn't ready. :shakefist

I also wouldn't make a great writing partner since my time has become very limited BUT I am still working on several stories. One of which involves creating a dark cabal that pulls the strings of the galaxy. When Acera becomes tangible again if she needs an ally Tear can be there.

I'd love Ezra's help :)

And I do think that at some point after getting a body, she should have some interaction with Tear :D

I'm intrigued by whatever direction you go with this.

So this is some kind of essence of Acera that is running amok? Or would it be something of an amalgam of other sith that came before as well?

Very much an essence, imbued by the power of Dan's writings. Or at least, the bits that her body initially absorbed on Demonsgate. It wasn't a whole lot I grant you, but it's just enough to keep her awareness going since s'Il shunted out the cancerous half of herself. I wouldn't say she's running amok though, more searching than anything, really.

I do like what you have about other Sith that came before, so it may be that the writings she absorbed injected some of Terminus and Rath and even Dan. Not so much an overt multiple personality disorder, but something softer and much more internally insidious. Thoughts?

Honestly, I have no sure way in my head how anyone would be able to write that with clarity, so I think you're probably best to keep Acera's own characterization in the driver's seat. You could play with the concept of "herself" and make her more and more a caricature of the person she was, but that's probably the most off-message you could venture.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Nothing so obvious or in-your-face, but a very low burn that's barely detected. I'm not sure though, since I want to get a feel for the 'new' Acera, if you will. I've no real desire to have any of the other manifest in speech or anything; it would be mannerisms more so. Slight and delicately applied.

I'd love to help in some capacity as well. Sianna is a master who practises Sith Alchemy and Sith Sorcery. Being a priestess of the revamped religion based on the one true Sith, she's become a historian, archaeologist and lover of ancient rituals and practises and is always looking for another avenue for knowledge and power. Could spell some interesting interactions between her and a ghost of sorts. :) Whatever you may have in mind.

I'm absolutely game for some interaction with Sianna :)

:D Look forward to it then. Have to come up with some ideas after we get her spirit anchored.
