View Full Version : Echoes in the Past (Sianna)

Long ago an evil arose out of the purest intentions.. Once a guardian of their order, over night a darkness crept against their boldest, most unforgiving enemies. A former ally turned into a darkenned vigilante, molded from the training of a jedi and forged into a deadly assassin only caring about her mission while listening to her darkenned heart.
Mourns could be felt as the void continued to be filled with the fallen, screams could be heard, their echoes loud enough through the force that even a star ships viewports were rumored to crack.. A new foe was rising steadfast, one so powerful that many could never withstand her thirst for revenge.
Her war was like none other, she cared little about fighting the jedi, to her they were the innocent that would never find her blade at their throat..
Awakened within her tomb the dark one grins delightfully as she can feel her time drawing nearer.. Her freedom almost at the door to her crypt, time had past as she waited patinently for her tomb to grow weak, to be released and continue where she had left off... But how much time had she to endure the constant nightfall of her cave? How long had it been since Hensley the Unforgiving had been locked away to rot? Time is now.. all the galaxy has to save itself from her wrath.
Voss will soon become the beginning of the end..

Light from the glowrod illuminated the ancient stone that continued on as the Sith Master trekked quietly down the long, roughly hewn tunnel until the ornate designs cut into the barrier which separated the entry from what lay beyond. Sianna had read on the many hidden places of Voss, but she had found so many more just exploring on her own. Today, her quest for knowledge and power directed her to this particular one. Silver orbs studied the frame to the door of greenish stone which kept her from getting to what was beyond which the Echani could feel in the Force. The power was strong, but dim and the priestess had a feeling that whatever lay beyond this sealed barrier would lead to something spectacular.
Setting the glowrod on a small, narrow perch within the stone wall to her right, she called on the Force drawing everything into her lithe body that could be mustered. Feeling the roiling energy within, she focused it down through her arms and to her hands, which then exploded outward to the ornately decorated door. Reverberating back down the tunnel which she had just come, dust and dirt billowed around her and as the cloud settled, she noticed that little had been done to the target. Frustrated now, she called on more using even more of her adrenaline to muster fuel which hadn't been gained already. Silver orbs darkened into grey as she unleashed another salvo, then a third as she began noticing cracks in the stone. Peppered by tiny rocks and dust, Sianna continued assaulting the weakening door until soon, a large crevasse fell away revealing a dark hole beyond. Taking a moment, she called the glowrod to her and neared the jagged hole and peered inside....

Thud-thud-thud rang through the force, reverberations alerting the dark one beyond the seal to the presence of another. Clasping her hands neatly together Hensley took a small breathe and fell into meditation to release unnecessary energy, the raven haired Knight igniting a flame between her fingertips allowing it to slowly grow.
Thud-crack-thud-crak the sounds growing as the creature attempts to batter her way in.. hearing the force whisper Ceraph smirked arrogantly as she felt the final blow which allowed the creature to enter Playtime she whispered to herself as the flame grew up her hand and to her wrist with a ghastly appearance.
Waiting patiently for this thing to make her trek to the inner parts of the cave, below the surface, only to find what remains.. waiting..

Silver orbs followed the long cone of light into the darkness beyond as in the Force, the Sith Master focused more on what she couldn't see and immediately noticed the aura that had drawn her here in the first place now intensifying. Not only that, they were a Force user themselves and obviously not a user of the Light, which was a relief. However, as Sianna continued on toward the resident of this tomb the Echani could tell that they apparently weren't in the mood to be disturbed.
Grinning wryly, Sianna encapsulated herself in a Force Shield having already been down this road before. Only seen in the Force itself, the priestess concentrated the bulk of the energy shield along her front as her booted feet passed the rubble she had pushed into the tomb. Descending a short, wide set of stairs, the ghostly figure in black robe and clothing slowed her pace as the fireball illuminated the ebon haired woman. "Greetings," Sianna called out, her voice echoing in the darkness beyond her glowrod.

It had been far too long since the last visitor, the last ones were her rightful captors.. Allowing the dark side to captivate her in its seething embrace Hensley began pooling at the fabric of the cosmos, feeling the molten force flow through her tired body. Allowing the raging storm to build within her tormented soul, loving the dark sides cradle effect when pooling and storing the energy need to sustain her body.
"How long has it been?" The dark one whispered eerily, her tone taking on a ghastly baritone as if it had come from a ghost "The star date, what is our current star date..?" She asked while remaining in meditation. The crackle of the fire of her wrist leaving a burning smell as it clung to her skin, a putrid display of control.

Now that the ghastly scene was in focus, Sianna noticed the orbiting balls of energy apparently keeping this woman here and by the looks of her, she was about to be consumed by the very energy that she enjoyed. Loss of control normally took many Force users down this path. "Sixteen ABY," she replied. "I'm Sith Master Sianna, priestess of the Sith'aria," she introduced as silvery orbs now scanned the large antechamber, raising the glowrod and pushing it outward as her eyes moved from left to right. Ornate deep green carvings cut into the smoky grey stone told of a bygone era, dusty and fading since their inception.
Returning her gaze to the captive, she now pondered how to release her if she had the notion, listening to the woman's thoughts and reply.

"It grows weaker as time continues to pass the Mortals by" Hensley remarked coldly and placed her attention to the other woman "Rituals such as this one were never meant to last.." She said with a smirk. The cavern radiating with the ritualistic embrace - Hensley scanning the area with her eyes in an eerie reproach to her situation as if trying to listen to a silent voice.
Extinguishing the fire she placed her attention back on the other while keeping her appearance neutral. Hensley still wore the very outfit she had been in the day of her imprisonment with the exception of the dual sabers that had been destroyed during the clash that lead to her being captured.
"Hunting for trouble?" She asked as she tore herself off the ground and turned to her side in a predatory manner, her focus being placed on the other woman trying to obtain some clarity to find any measure of hostility.

"Hunting, searching," Sianna replied with a similar dark taint to her voice. "I've made a living of exploration over the past few years and have learned much." Silver orbs darkened again slightly as she studied the Force containment hovering around the woman's form trying to determine how best to defeat this barrier without killing the prisoner. "Who imprisoned you?" Now in tune with the Force, opened to the ebb and flow of the past and present, the priestess also began to hear voices seeping from the walls and floor, though their origins were still yet to be determined.
There was no doubt that if this woman was released that her search for vengeance may just start the moment after, she mused as Sianna continued assessing the situation.

"jedi, Sith, Crime Lord.. Everyone who fell to my blade" she mused with a deceptive grin "You hear them don't you?" she gleefully remarked "All the souls of the force wielders I once tortured and murdered.." the ravenous female proudly stated in a matter-of-fact way.
"They enjoy being tormented in their afterlife, such a sweet resemblance of a weak people" Her tone began to adhere to dun moch "Imprisoned within this tomb are the more interesting and delightful lost souls of those Fallen Jedi and Murdered Sith.. all fell to the Sunfire Blade" Hensley's voice didn't deceive her cold hearted nature within the norms of Sociopathy.

Grinning, the Echani priestess was intrigued beyond question as the woman spoke of her murderous past. One not all that unfamiliar to the Sith master either, though having been taught Sith Sorcery some years prior, she was beginning to see a fount of resources for future endeavors. The blade mentioned now also had her interested having never heard of it.... yet. "Color me impressed," the snowy haired intruder quipped as she began touring the outer ring of the containment's etched rings. "Too bad you can't use them for other purposes," Sianna challenged, continuing to scan the walls and surrounding dark tiles on the floor, some etched in ritualistic glyphs which had to be dark magic of some kind. Not recognizing the symbology, Sianna crouched a moment and soon began picking out similarities with ancient Rakata, though not perfectly made she noted.
Rising again, the Sith historian and archaeologist returned her gaze to the imprisoned. "You've made some powerful enemies, it seems. I may be able to help you..." She didn't see a blade with the raven haired beauty, so that must mean that it had been taken before she was imprisoned.

"Lend me your power" Hensley remarked coldly as she stood staring at the other female. Taking a moment she lowered her head in meditation and began to slowly pool on the force "Rakata tech was meant to be indestructable, they were highly advanced society of interesting people" she began her instruction "But even a soul cage would have its dire vulnerability" she then began to search the area until she noticed a minuture device "there" she hissed and raised her hand, focusing on the force she made use of her former jedi training and allowed the darkside to begin enveloping her.
Slowly closing her fist she watched as the device began to spark and emit menacing sounds of technological death, finally closing her fist with the final surge of the darkside she watched as the device crackled, popped and died in a fireball of electricity "Now tell me who you are" she demanded.

Sianna's head canted to the right slightly, snowy white hair falling over her shoulder as she listened to the Force as it touched on the woman's supposed victim's ghosts within the walls and floor. Their life essence permeating the very stone and Sianna purposed that she wasn't about to join them. Being a Sith Master, she had her own tricks as well and as the woman began seeking out the controller to the energy cage, the explosion of sparks from the ancient device grabbed her attention. Straightening again, the Echani visitor moved toward it and crouched as her hostess inquired as to her identity. "I told you not a few moments ago," silver orbs rose to the woman's blue. "Sith Master Sianna, priestess of the Sith'aria."
Invoking the Force and filling herself with it's energy once again, she opened her mind and spirit to the room and areas beyond. "Tell me more about this blade you mentioned."

"And you feel no danger being here?" She asked as she looked back to the other female and smirked as she noticed the question of the blade "It had been laced with a very volatile gem, ever hear of the lava crystal?" her tone adopting a more relaxed tone as she began to wrap the energies around her body, enveloping her frame in the coldness of the darkside.

Nodding, Sianna stood once again. "Mainly from volcanically active worlds such as Mustafar, as well as others. Never seen one myself, but I know they exist." There had been rumored to be many special weapons created over the millennia by exceptional saber crafters and the priestess had always scribbled down various ideas for designs for her eventual laboratory. There were many things on the table that she would use to her benefit and having a blade that contained such heat would definitely be intriguing.
"So, what did they do with the sword? Or did you hide it away?" She had a feeling the former was true as someone this sadistic wouldn't have given it up had she known that many others had come to imprison her in this dank chamber. As she felt her hostess' aura intensify, Sianna focused her own soaked energies throughout her own toned body, ready for that eventual attempt at her life. Not having much history on this woman yet, she knew enough already which gave her foreknowledge that many spirits already permeated the very stone of his cave. Hensley was baiting her, she knew, though remained outwardly neutral as well.

Smirking as she began to adjust her body position toward a predatory pacing, her attention glued to the other lady while studying her "The blade was damaged, even destroyed during the..." she turned her eyes to the cave as she drank in the shrieks of the damned 'comotion" she finished while turning her attention back.
"No need to worry yourself" she casually remarked "It would be foolish to attack without a way to greatly defend" she instructed and stopped her pacing while bringing her hands to her belt buckle and lowering her head in meditation to rest her energy. So many decades have left her a bit weakened as she was forced to remain in the cave, forced to live off lower life forms.
Slowly allowing herself to recharges as she rested in meditation.

Cold, silver orbs took in the raven haired beauty now meditating, Sianna mulled over her words and knew that this woman only wished to escape. It was only natural after all. Voss was one of many worlds that the Sith and Jedi had touched over the millennia and there seemed to be no end to the stories of those who had ventured here looking for power and knowledge, but none of them had the advantage of being able to learn from past mistakes the way she had. Few had her knowledge of history that seemed to only continue to grow. Now, the priestess remained quiet as she continued scanning the walls, marked and weathered grey by dust and age. Faces racked in agony could almost be made out by the Sith as she moved slowly, keeping Hensley in her peripheral for the time being and allowing the woman to reclaim some of what had been lost to her. There was even more to be learned here, soon. All she had to do was be a bit patient.
The blade had been damaged, which meant that perhaps it had been shattered during her fight to resist being contained in here, alone and left to waste away in the force cage. She was going to need to eat soon. Replenishing the spirit of the Force was one thing, but if the vessel holding it died, what good was it?

Feeling the radiation of the force slowly begin to melt her chilled body, filling her core with energies she held the mediation while reclaiming her energy and plottting her next series of maneuvers. Opening her eyes she lifted her head, held out her hand and called the weapon which laid nearby to her.
Seeing as the forced was replenished enough she smirked and quipped it to her belt, the remaining sabre was badly damaged by not irrepairable "What exactly made you venture in these unknown" she asked while turning back to the other female feeling more energized.

As the woman rose, Sianna glanced to her and noted the weapon then clipped to her belt. Eyes rising to the smooth, dirty face of her hostess, Sianna grinned. "I've explored many tombs and ancient sites and never get enough of feeling the energies that roil through these places. Voss is full of battle sites and forgotten caves like this one," she scanned their surroundings as the dark robed Echani turned toward Hensley. "I grew up reading histories of my people and then branched out with stories of the Sith and ancient dark jedi. Sorzus Syn arriving on Korriban and helping cull the Sith people and then acclimating the dark jedi to their new home has been a great inspiration. Love knowing that someone with a little inspiration, motivated enough to change what was known into things that had only been imagined is where I'm driving to."
A grin raised the corners of her full, black lips. "This cave and many like it on this world hold many secrets that are waiting to be unlocked. This one just happened to have you in it."

Smirking proudly as she noticed the name drop "Sorzus was a genius" she mused "the events of ruusan have led to many great discoveries about the true nature of the dark side.. Many apparitions since have only existed from the lessons of that great sith battle, these ghosts for instance aren't an eleborate illusion cooked up by a crazy alchemist".
She then looked toward the next chamber and began to walk toward it, the very chamber where the fight had begun "What do you know of the treaty of coruscant" she wasn't asking a question, but merely trying to understand how much this darksider had been told or discovered on her own.

Following Hensley into the next chamber, she kept her senses open for any treachery and scanned the next room as the woman talked, then asked her about a momentous event that showed how subtle and clever the Sith had been back then. It took her a moment to recall some of the highlights that she had read. "Darth Baras was an interesting character and I definitely enjoyed how the Dark Council had lured the Republic into a false sense of security, then stabbed them in the back. Forcing them to sign over several worlds and eventually convert some of the failed Jedi to their cause was a master stroke."
More details arose as she thought about it. "Striking the Jedi temple on Coruscant was something that I always wished I could've been a part of as a child."

"It was a time to celebrate no less, but not much of a victory for either side" she responded in a more instructive tone "Yes they did what most of their time and even before their time could not... Brush of Genius Military Power" she took a deep breath and relaxed her nerves for a moment "Too bad they were too goal oriented" looked around she smirked as she began focusing on the dark side.
"If the sith had completed their task, your greatest nightmare would have been stopped" Hensley then chuckled showing her inner sadist and looked toward the sith "Not today, maybe not in a long while... Eventually your kind will be no more, Dark Lady" she then grimaced and walked out of the chamber and toward the entrance.

"Where there's a desire for the pure side of the Force, there will ever be someone seeking to become perfect within it," her counter-argument being one that had kept her going for many years. "Therefore, I wouldn't get my hopes up." Turning, she followed Hensley from the second chamber, wondering now why they came in here. Heading for the main entrance, the sounds of nature outside echoed down the long tunnel. "Jedi waste their time harboring the weak and in turn making themselves weak. Other sects stumble at simple things and sometimes fade from history. Which dogma do you follow?"
Cooler, evening air wafted in from the forested valley beyond the roughly hewn entrance within the man-made framing and stair as they approached. Roars and calls from the variety of predators that lived in the cursed wood could be heard in the distance as Sianna escorted the elder Force user from her prison.

"I follow whatever path presents itself" Hensley remarked as she walked out the caverns and into the planetary map "The force isn't as simple as one would consider it.. its not as black, white or grey.. Sith" she hissed as she responded and began her tedious trek toward the nearest city. The planet currently overcast as the middle of the day slowly transitioned toward night.
"As for your enthusiasm the sith would remain.. What makes you consider them to be a strong sort" she asked rather disdainfully as she continued her trek knowing the sith would follow.

So, a Grey Jedi, Sianna mused? It was one avenue even though she had read about many different groups and sects that all followed their own dogma and established themselves in many remote worlds around the galaxy, avoiding Jedi and Sith for the most part. Though there were definitely those who had made their marks on the galaxy, such as the Dathomiri witches and Shapers of Kro Var, to name a few. Two that she still had wanted to visit more and gain as much knowledge as she could about their abilities, hoping to maybe some of that for herself.
Hensley's challenge about the Sith's endurance over the millennia, Sianna wasn't sure she had been keeping up with history that much. "Regardless of how Jedi and other governments have tried to wipe us out, Sith endure every test of time. What more proof do you need than that?" Their journey to any outpost or garrison was going to take a while, but it would definitely give the priestess enough time to get to know this woman.

"Their kind have a nasty habit of pissing off the wrong people." she proclaimed "What exactly has happened since the events of the treaty?" she asked rather quizzically. She wanted to know where she would have to take up, hoping too much time hadn't passed her by.
Sighing as she noticed where they were at she shrugged and continued to press on. It'd be morning by the time they made it. Being a cold blooded thing made it even better as if the temperature dropped suddenly she wouldn't exactly be effected unless its that extreme.
"Sooo I take it the Order's been flourishing" she asked piecing together a plan of advancement.

It took a minute for Sianna to realize which treaty that Hensley was referring to, her white brow raising slightly. "That's over three thousand years worth of history," Sianna began as they continued trekking through the dense, tangled jungle whose air was heavy and oppressive, though comfortable to the Sith Master. "The Sith in that time employed the Rule of Two under Darth Bane once he convinced the Jedi and Sith fighting on Ruusan to employ the thought bomb, destroying both of them in a large cave. That doctrine lasted until just recently with Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader who ruled the galaxy in the first galactic empire, which lasted almost twenty years or more. We've graduated back to the older thoughts of having more than just two Sith to share all the knowledge and have been growing steadily since. Right now, there's a cold war going on between the Empire and New Republic. Borders are a lot tighter, but there are still plenty of gaps in their security for those that know the routes through nebula and such. Rumor has it that the Jedi have rebuilt on Ossus in the past few years."

That was three thousand years of knowledge Hensley slowed her pace as soon as she heard it, she knew through the corruption had allowed her a long life.. But three thousand years? could it have been that long already... Seems like just yesterday!!
Peering back she turned slightly for a moment studying the sith. After a few moments she began to scan her surroundings "Three thousand.." she calmly repeated "I trust your not lying since a sith normally gets their history straight, however that still doesn't mean you're trust worthy" she blasted back as she looked to the sith with a mocking side grin.

Undeterred by the challenge, Sianna continued moving through the dense underbrush as she could feel the nearby auras of several large predators. "We get to Voss'Ka, you can hit one of their information kiosks and see for yourself." There was going to be a large trove of history for this woman to catch up on, she knew and though Sianna typically kept certain things to herself when it came to history, this wasn't one of those moments. Everything stated was common knowledge to anyone in the street, so she had no qualms about divulging any of it.
Glancing sidelong to Hensley, she wondered if the woman had any telepathic ability or not, for Sianna's thoughts on the matter had been readily available at the time.

She had been so focused on the other she hadn't realized there was something else here. Focusing on the detected enemies her side grin turned into a scowl as she began to call upon the force allowing it to envolope her form. Her eyes giving off a silver hue as the force began surrounding her.
"I feel it as well" she stated as she switched to guard mode and began searching for the enemies when suddenly one appeared while charging. Holding up her hand she sent a kinetic blast toward it to knock it off balance and reached out with her force crush focused on the beasts lungs, slowly crushing its ability to breathe so it would suffocate.
"Prepare yourself.. More will be on their way" she remarked as she allowed the force to slowly recharge her energies, Hensley dealt with it before.. It would take some time but her force would replenish itself.

The thunderous beats of their clawed feet alerted the priestess to the danger as she soaked in the Force from around her, the very ground and air supplying the Master with more than she could contain. Leaping high into the air, to the left and beyond where Hensley was preparing to defend herself, Sianna focused all she could muster into her right hand, her left now clutching her double bladed lightsaber. As three horranth charged the apparently lone woman, the Echani descended back to the ground and just before landing, left knee up as her booted foot connected with the ground, her right knee crushing a large plant, the priestess exuded a powerful blast of air, creating a concussive burst which sent the trio of large predators tumbling away, one slamming into a tree. With them now stunned, she charged the nearest with her lightsaber, it's fiery crimson glow now lighting up the area and plunged the blade into the beast's chest. Searing the flesh, it cried out in pain as Sianna then moved to attack the next.

Seeing the beasts rush in she tilted her head in a sadistic manner and ignited her PK while awaiting her prey. The tingling feeling crawling from her fingertip up her hand and directly up her arm. One thing she understood is pain is the best source of the force. The fire sizzling her skin and the force quickly replenishing, her eyes glowing with an eerie silver and her left hand igniting itself in the flame as well.
Cracking her neck she smirked as she watched one come close, launching herself in the air Hensley sent a single plume of flame at the beast and watched as it lit up. landing catlike she smirked as she looked back and doused the flame while side stepping another.

Sianna continued charging the next target as it stumbled to rise once more to it's feet. Lunging with her blade, she caught it in the neck, then as it yelped loudly and fell backward, she continued on to the last one that had been victim of her blast of air. This one was more agile than the other two and growled as she sprinted to it. Lower jaw full of upraised, pointed fangs, it lowered it's head and charged as well. Leaping upward, she angled her feet over her head, twisting in mid-air and sliced along it's spine, cutting the beast almost in two. Landing beyond it, grey eyes glanced back to see a ball of flame erupt from Hensley's hand and consume another horranth.
Grinning, she was enjoying this and began looking for another to inflict with pain.

flicking her hair from her face the raven haired Dark Jedi smirked as she noticed what the sith could accomplish "Having fun?" she asked and turned toward another noise, currently an echo. The day already shifted to night and hensley was famished. Looking at a carcass she walked over and placed her fingertips on the flesh of the creature making sure its still got some essense.
Siphoning off the remaining energy of the creature she stood and looked straight ahead as the echo got louder which told her something was on its way..

Nodding, the Echani felt exhilarated as she hadn't done this sort of thing in a long time. A dark grin complimented the look on her face as she then stepped closer and watched as the newly freed woman then touched one of the fallen creatures. Through the Force, now more alive since she had tapped into it for the fight, she could sense the action being taken on the beast as it's spirit slowly began to ebb, then some be diverted into the new host. Interesting, she noted. Grey orbs soon brightened once more into her signature silver, until the sounds echoing through the forest alerted her to another approaching. Or at least in the area. Turning, she searched the large, gnarled trees for the source of the movement and again shifted her senses to the ethereal, detailed color becoming more like wireframed to where she could then pick out the life around them. The large monstrosity lumbering over a near cliff was easy enough to pick out. It's clawed hands and immense, sloped head distinguishable from everything else that lurked in these cursed woods.
"This one may take a bit more than a moment to take down," she informed, glancing back to Hensley and grinned. Turning back, she began moving toward the large creature, easily standing over twelve feet tall, and kept to the shadows of the large, brown-grey trunks and kept them between herself and the beast.

Hensley wasn't in the mood for the monstrocity that had just showed itself through the thick darkened abyss of Voss twilight. Cracking her neck as she watched the sith run after it she smirked and looked back to their new target “Like old times” she said with a chuckle as she remembered the time on another planet, how she took down a large tarentetek with just her blades.
Basking in the agonizing chill of the darkside she licked her lips hungrily as she began formulating her plan.. This she would enjoy for the longest time! Fixing her outfit she grabbed her hair putting it in a loose pony and casually walking toward the creature watching for any sign of weakness she could exploit.
Swaying her hips she began to soothingly collect on the darkside as she neared the creature. Looking toward the nearest tree she chuckled and stopped dead in her tracks, held her hand out and began crushing the trunk of the tree only to have her toy several long moments later and sending it crashing into the leg of the creature looking to injure it enough to make it bait all the while relishing in bringing down the monster that foolishly decided to trot into the land of the lost.

The pulse of the dark side only amplified in this forest, Sianna grinned to herself as she continued meandering through the large trunks and half buried rocks to soon see the large, deep blue colored creature. Her own body humming with the Force now filling it, the priestess then heard the crunching of heavy wood and then noticed it crash into the creature's leg, knocking it a bit sideways as it's horrendous roar now called everything in the area to stay away. The warning unheeded by the pair of Sith females now becoming the predators.
This thing walked into the wrong area, she mused.
Pooling everything into her hands, Sianna's anger and lust for a trophy from this beast, unleashed crackles of lightning which then encapsulated the large head and torso of her target. Raising it's large, muscled clawed arms into the air, it's pain gave Sianna a rush.

Hensley nodded as she noticed the crackling of energy, her silver hue growing a little as the moments continue to pass. Her pupils swirling as the force was beginning to challenge her.
