Ivarr "Blacktung" Rekkavik
Thirty-Four :: Zakuullian (Human) :: Bounty Hunter :: Mercenary
Currently in: Imperial Space
Character Background:- "When I was but a boy my Grandmother would tell me stories about the Old Gods..."
Blacktung hails from the planet Zakuul, the former seat of the Infinite Empire.
A simple man he grew up poor and dirty on a farm collective under the care of his grandparents.
As a young man, he had a vision of the Old Gods, marking him as the first prophet to exist since the Infinite Empire banned the Old Gods.
Raw Material: - "I worshipped the Old Gods in secret. They had been banished for hundreds of years. When I began to hear the words of Izax I could stay silent no more..."
Blacktung was not happy with being chosen as the prophet of the Old Gods, and tried to run from his calling for years by joining the Bounty Hunters Guild.
He is an accomplished hunter, tracker, and survival expert. He uses his skills to track bounties on inhospitable planets and dangerous urban cities.
Blacktung is a honorable warrior and never backs down from a fight. He employs many weapons that are primitive by modern standards, are based upon them.
He is slowly becoming more comfortable with his calling as a avatar of the Old Gods, and developing his shamanistic (force) powers.
He is not beyond doing mercenary or for hire work to fill out his schedule. He frequently includes himself in other people's adventures if they sound exciting (dangerous) enough.
Plot Ideas: - "They called me a heretic. They stripped from me my claim, my family, and my name. They banished me from my home. They called me Black Tongued."
As a Bounty Hunter and sometimes Mercenary, he can be hired to take on bounties or join your group for whatever adventure you have in store.
A Card carrying Bounty Hunter makes Blacktung an Imperial contractor by definition. He is most commonly found in Imperial Space. Imperial Characters could easily interact with him, or employ him.
He is a force user, but he has no idea. He views his connection to nature, and ability to manipulate it, as proof of his Gods power channeled through him. This could cause interesting interactions with other Force Users.
Or you know, whatever else you would want to do with a Space Viking.
Existing Relationships:
The Empire - Blacktung has a healthy relationship with the Imperial government. He often assists them in special operations when a trained tracker is required. As a result he has connections within the military and favors that can be pulled.
Current Plots:
Fearless and Inventive (https://theholo.net/forum/showthread.php?57231-Fearless-and-Inventive-(bounty-hunters)) A mysterious job offer has attracted several Bounty Hunters to the planet Bomis Koori
Where wild things dare not tread (https://theholo.net/forum/showthread.php?57168-Where-wild-things-dare-not-tread-(Imperials-Invite-PM)) An Imperial Operation on Wayland requires a hearty tracker to discover the whereabouts of a long lost Imperial Colony
Port of Call (https://theholo.net/forum/showthread.php?57097-Port-of-Call) - Blacktung chases off a group of Weequays that were threatening women, distracting him from his hunt for a bounty on Cloud City.
