Getting my house in order!

Hey, everybody! It's been a while since I've darkened the doorsteps around here, and now that I've got my degree and am settled into a new job, I think it's high time I got involved again. My primary obstacle right now is that I had a whole bunch of plot threads running in many different directions, and now I need to figure out which ones to pick up. That depends largely on who's available and interested in helping me out. I'm going to start with the characters I know I definitely want to get going again:

Rev Solomon
Acquire a new right arm
Finish a very special conversation (https://www.theholo.net/forum/showthread.php?55876-Undaunted) with Serena
Engage in masterly duties with Kazahan

Akasha Khan
Wrap up her business on Ossus
Complete her betrayal of the Jedi, in whatever form that takes
Get established with Eleutheria

Baastian Cain
Begin training the Imperial Cadets
Do some remedial work with "Kyle Rayner"
Follow up on his duel with Zem Vymes (oh hai I'm not actually dead)

Onika Zepparah
Get picked up after school by Palara Iscandar
Begin training with her fellow Cadets


Other characters I would like to pick up, but may or may not have time for, so we'll have to see:

Suriyesh Rajinaathra and her retinue of droids
Several unfinished storylines with Matea - depends on whether she's still around!

Mdharra Ceergorra and Miri Jitaurree
Love these characters, but they're a lot of work to write. I sort of have to take them in spurts.

Ydran Esk'avar
Probably will function as a support character more than anything else.


Biggest challenge right now I think is figuring out what to do with Akasha... I've made several grand plans for her that all ground to a halt. Pretty soon her big betrayal of the Jedi will be to spraypaint something rude on the council building, punch Draiya in the nose, and scurry onto a transport with a bindle hanging from her lightstaff.

Any suggestions? Anything important I've missed?

And definitely Akasha because the demise of one of my characters is tied up in her story

Madaleia and Natacha, I look forward to writing with you! It's great to see some new faces around here, and I can't wait to meet all your characters! Madaleia, I PMed you about your open thread in the Empire forum. And Solomon will enjoy having another Jedi Master around to keep these whippersnappers in check.

Getting my Ciz characters involved with Jovan could definitely be interesting. I know we had talked about a shore leave thread for Miri to get herself way in over her head. Baastian and Vissica? Yes. Very yes. That needs to happen again.

Holly, let's talk on IM! I should be on this evening during MNF (if I'm not too nervous about the Steelers).

On the subject of Baastian and Vissica; he could visit Corellia to inspect Vissica and Alexia's progress. The two of them were sent to quell the growing Resistance and end the rebellion. So far they have not had much progress. They've managed to release a dangerous cult/gang into the streets and let a Jedi Knight slip through their fingers/paws. Baastian could even take their reports back to Atrapes.

We could continue the thread between Yuri and Karkoon. It's not a super big deal since I've moved forward with the character since then but I always thought it was a really fun thread.

Zereth is of course around for Eleutheria things.

I have an assortment of Jovan Station characters. From an extremely optimistic engineer to the smut peddler/information broker (quest giver?).

Also, and not to over burden you are anything, but we also have the Force Awakens future timeline going. Set like 30 years in the future with Ossus temple destroyed and the Jedi having been wiped out. Just something to consider.

Also if you're still keen on Sol being involved in the Dan arc, that is still going on. It hit a holding spot for the moment since a bunch of things have been happening on our end for the last 5-6 months, but with a bit of normalization beginning to come back, I'm wanting to get it rolling once more.
