Thread with an Ancient Illusionist?

Hey everyone!

So Anthymis has been a favourite, yet relatively unwritten, character of mine on various boards. I'm looking to get myself used to 'Fans, so what better way than to get some threads done!

With that in mind, who wants to thread with an Ancient Illusionist?

I have pasted the Plot Ideas section from my Plotter (https://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?57050-Anthymis) below, for easy reference. I'm very open to new ideas, however, so fire away if you feel like it!

Plot Ideas



Anthymis, currently entombed on Yavin IV, is found by Auswyn Nothrael, to whom he shares a connection prophesied by Adraestia.
His tomb is permeated with the Dark Illusions that bleed from his chrysalis-like cage, making it difficult to tell reality from his creations. Along with the traps present in the tomb and it's labyrinthine nature, only someone with great and terrible potential will be able to free the Dark Lord from his bonds.
Upon awaking, Anthymis first impulse will be to reunite with Adrasteia and Nemeseia and continue their work together.
Secondarily, Anthymis will be eager to resume his Illusionary experimentation on unwilling test subjects.

I'd like to take part in helping with this. :) I've been needing more opportunities with Sianna, so getting into the more mystical side of the Force will be fun.

It would be an honor to write with you, Sianna, as it always has been :) Do you have any thoughts regarding what kind of story you would like to do? Perhaps she would like to assist in some of his experiments?

:D I noticed you had still yet to escape the tomb, so unless you already had someone lined up for that I could help, and/or if you wanted her to show up later on and begin convincing him to let her help with delving into Sith Alchemy or Sorcery, that would be fun too. There are never a shortage of "willing" test subjects..... lol

Auswyn is helping with the release, so Alchemy and Sorcery sounds like an absolutely perfect plan! I'm just trying to decide what planet I'm going to have him on. Any suggestions?

Since those two are involved, why not Dathomir? There are a ton of unexplored corners to that world and one island known as a haunt for Nightbrothers who's experimentation had gone awry - Wraith Isle. It's in Wookiepedia if you wanted to read up on it. I also ran part of my Star Wars campaign recently on that world and created a few more ruins and places like that.

That's one planet that would be suitable, I'm sure there are more. :)

Well, Anthymis. We as writers could almost pick up where we left off, one way or another, with Dathomir. :mischief
