Sanfis Feldor
Age: Mid-forties :: Adumar/Alliance/Dark Jedi :: Occupation: Owner, Freight Shipping Company
Currently in: Tepani Sector
Character Background
As an established Adumari house, the Feldor's were rich beyond their wildest dreams. Generations of blastsword combatants had elevated them into a solid position within the social hierarchy, bringing with it military honour and political favours.
As a young man, he was keen to succeed the family name and prove himself worthy of those who had come before him. His aptitude for the blastsword was far above average, a fact he put down to instinct. It was through this training that Sanfis met Baska Tankreyd, who saw in him the real reason for his "instinct". Sanfis begun training in the Dark Side.
Seeing an opportunity for further social ascension, the Feldor's were involved in a plot to unite existing powers around a new head of the Yedagon Confederacy (one of several nations on Adumar), but their conspiracy was foiled by the loyalist house Dumar. Jallais Feldor - the former head of house and Sanfis' sister - took her life in shame, leaving Sanfis as the heir apparent.
Sanfis runs a competitive freight logistics company, set up using the final credits of his families former wealth. He left Adumar following the families fall.
Sanfis found the ruthless world of venture capitalism to be not to dissimilar to that of clan conflict; promoting him to a class of reasonably successful businessmen. Yet no success can match the bitter sting of being the son who couldn't save the family name...
Raw Material
Sanfis was instructed in the ways of the force by Baska Tankreyd - who saw within him the desire to attain his goals at any cost. She taught him that patients was an ally of the Dark Side, not it's enemy. She gave him a lightsaber, which he still uses to this day. Sanfis and her have not spoken since his flight from Adumar and fall from power.
Sanfis is a Dark Jedi, believing that the ends justify the means. The Dark Side is a tool to power, from his perspective.
The Feldor clan constitutes Sanfis and the widow of his sister. Sanfis occasionally sends credits to him, in order to support his two nephews. They reside within House Beltree, who advise the Monarchy on matters of commerce.
Sanfis has come to terms with his place in the Galaxy. He is nothing more than a financially successful man: a failure in his eyes.
