Born on Adumar to a military family, Isamaya and her younger brother learned to enjoy sparring together and hoped to one day be like their father.
During a raid by a neighboring city-state, their father was killed in action, leading his platoon as they defended a power station. Being posthumously awarded one of the army's top awards, Isamaya kept his display showing his ribbons and other achievements in her room.
One day while hunting, Isamaya chanced upon a downed escape pod and discovered a young woman inside, nearly dead from her injuries and helped save the woman's life. Esme befriended the local and eventually began teaching Isamaya more in depth styles of fighting.

Raw Material
Knowing how convoluted politics can be, Isamaya found that she had a natural affinity for making deals as well as friends in the right circles. This quality steered her instead into the governmental arena instead of the military one.
Finding her way to join the Imperial government, Isamaya eventually gained access to a top office helping very notable individuals and is hoping to gain a senatorial seat at some point.
