Scrutinizing the buyer's eyes, steel-blue orbs took in the way the older, wealthy business owner perused the slaves that he had brought. Most being suited for heavier labor, others were easily fit into other tasks that would be useful as those unsuited to the new life that they would be sold into were disposed of. He had no patience for bad investments and every piece of property that had been taken was more than worthy of his time and money.

"This one," Konstantin motioned to a shapely, young woman as he walked by her, taking in the lean muscle tone. As his treasurer marked off the item chosen, another task master grabbed the girl's arm and Syravari motioned for his own partner to wait before releasing the collar. "Those two." Turning to the slaver and pirate, the mining company owner smiled. "Always had bad luck with finding someone that knew how to pick 'em. Seems there's a welcome entrepreneur on Cloud City finally."

Nodding lightly, "Looking to establish myself here, so knew these would come in handy for owners that need help with certain tasks." Walking alongside the new owner of three slaves, they approached Konstantin's treasurer as the slaver's crew then ushered their goods back into the holding room until the next customer arrived, tomorrow.

"Off to a good start." Eyeing the female that was now being released from the restraint collar and fit with something less unseemly, "Would like one as a companion that knows how to cook. Keep your eyes open for me?"

"Sure," the deeper voice echoing in the busy room. "I have your contact information, so I'll let you know when I find something."

"Great."

Money now exchanged and secured in his private bank account, Syravari and his remaining crew departed the private hangar as Konstantin and his entourage entered a speeder and left as well. "Nice beginning," Korbin stated as they walked. "Going to have to continue to keep all this quiet for now though. Imperial presence on the station in the upper levels are going to notice unregistered citizens eventually."

"Not our problem anymore." Keeping his mind on the future for his hard earned money, it was time to begin scouting this floating city. "Once things are secured and supplies gained, take some time and get to know this place."

"You bet."

Parting ways, Syravari spent the next hour scouring the lower levels and soon found an empty warehouse that may one day be converted into the dream that he had. Being a gambler, and businessman, he was looking forward to opening up his own casino and brothel. One day, he mused as foot traffic and the occasional speeder glided past behind him. Cold eyes were hidden behind his close fitting, sunglasses and though unneeded here on the lower, dimly lit levels of the floating city, he had a trademark look to keep. Soon the voice of a male shouting his beliefs found the pirate's ears and Syravari turned to see the middle aged human trying to gain someone's attention with his dogma. Turning to the man who was obviously out of place here, the taller human in black leather jacket, slate grey slacks and nicer shoes slowly made his way to the troublemaker.

"... and those living the lives of crime will one day regret it." Brown eyes turned to the approaching, serious face. "You have no regrets, sir?"

"Not yet, but you're working on it."

Grinning, the casually dressed stranger turned to him. "I've been there, friend. Just left prison for crimes that should've put me away for the rest of my life. I've seen the universe's truth. The Force has guided me away from those desires. The need for giving in to baser lusts, gone."

Syravari's ire was ratcheting up with each passing moment. "You're serious? There's nothing about you that's above any addictions. I can smell the alcohol on your breath, see the track marks on your wrist. Quit being a hypocrite and shut your mouth before someone does it for you."

Molly Black, in one of her frequently featured little black dresses, walked through the scummy streets of the lower levels of Cloud City as though she had no fear. She was, in fact, chewing bubble gum. Popping bubbles between her perfect white teeth that reverberated loudly in the synthetic bowels of the mining facility.

"This is not the place, Niemi.", she grouched into her comm. "There's like... no one here! I said somewhere busy!"

Across the comm disgruntled Sullustese was barely audible, let alone easy to keep up with.

Molly scoffed. "Hey! You told me left! Left I went... not my fault there was a lift after the left you figured I would just intuit on taking! Now be shhhh, I have to back track."

Turning around, Molly clicked back the way she came, seemingly oblivious to the deals being done in the shadows, or the absence of an imperial officers. Instead, she was focused on her task of finding the perfect spot for her experiment..

Grinning wryly, the disheveled man in ragged clothes eyed the slaver and pirate up and down, disdain in his eyes. "You're one of them, aren't you?" His alcohol tainted breath becoming a bit too much to take. "Another street sweeper, thinking you can come here and live off of the dead and dying."

Sighing, Syravari punched him in the mouth, then followed up with a left cross, hitting him in the jaw, then watched the man drop like a stone. Once done, he reached down and grabbed the man by the shirt and dragged him into the nearby alley, leaving him in the heaped trash near an overworked garbage dumpster. Turning, he walked back out onto the sidewalk and gazed around, just in time to see a dark haired beauty that obviously was a local, or extremely lethal by the way she was dressed. A smile erupted across his rugged features as she neared, talking to someone else on her comlink. Ignoring the moans from the one he just left in the alley, Syravari stepped closer into her path.

"Lost? I just arrived and was wondering if you knew who owned this warehouse," he motioned to the large, empty building behind him. His deeper tone, smooth and even and in the past gaining the results he wanted - most not knowing whether he was nice or a sociopath. It was more fun to keep them guessing.

Molly stopped a healthy distance from the big guy suddenly blocking her path. She had absolutely no idea just who he was, but he was not on her list of 'guys that could put others guys through a wall.' Unknowns were risks, but sometimes they turned out alright. Warily, but with expert bravado, she considered the guy's question.

"Not lost, no. Are you?", she waggled a dark brow at him.

"Sorry, I'm afraid not. Probably no one good in this part of town. It might be a private owner, but even so I'm sure one of the syndicates has a vested interest in the space. Careful who you ask!", she advised, side stepping to pass around him.

Nodding, lips pursed he turned left and stepped in beside her. "As a matter of fact, I'm new here, in case you couldn't tell," he grinned, gravelly voice denoting too many cigarras in the past. "Thought that warehouse would make a good spot for a new casino and brothel that I'm looking to open up." Turning his attention to the sidewalk and those either leaving another lit warehouse or stopped and arguing with another, it took no time at all to see the weapons hidden in the obvious spots. "You must be from here," Syravari observed, looking her up and down briefly. "Can't imagine anyone dressed like this being safe down here."

As he spoke, a younger punk in rust colored leather stepped up, his pale green eyes fixed now on Molly as he grinned, revealing two gold teeth. Dirty, straw colored hair fell around his unshaven face and matched his slouched posture, though Syravari knew a gun slinger when he saw them. "Hey, Moll. Where's that no good sleeze of a partner of yours? He still owes me forty for that race last weekend." Glancing to the well dressed, tall man to her left. "Finally take my advice and hire a bodyguard?" He chuckled, turning his attention back to her, his gaze falling to her thighs. "Apparently didn't warn him of your appetites," his brow wagged as he licked his lips.

Annnnd, he was following her.

"You don't say.", she replied to his comment about being new. The guy had a voice like he had made a career out of gargling razor blades and death stick smoothies.

Molly seemed continually oblivious to the seedy sorts loitering around the warehouses, but it was far from the truth. In some way or another she knew a few of them, or they knew her. Or at least who she was associated with. The guys who scared the crap out of guys like them..

"What're you talking about, sugar? For me this is the only way to dress, trust me. Coveralls do nothing for this figure."

"Hey, Brady. Partner, huh? Calling the Chiss my partner would be a stretch, I think. But I'll let him know you're looking for him, if I see him. No telling with that guy."

"Bodyguard, no. Obviously, I am the demented psychopath type. Be a shame to set me off, don't you think?", she teased with a wink and kept moving. "But... if you know who is leasing around here, maybe you guys can talk business! Ta!"

Appetites? What had people been saying about her? Molly's love life had been nonexistent for years now. She was too picky to settle on something less than mind blowing, and nothing had blown her mind in years..

Loving the spirit of the raven haired beauty, Syravari watched her walk away from them as did most of the sleezeball's friends. She definitely had a reputation and the slaver and pirate needed someone like her in his corner, especially when it came to establishing himself in a new arena like this one.

"You not following her, skink," the ganger stated, hands on his weapon belt as he smiled. "Though I'd warn you, getting with her's like trying to tame a rancor."

Syravari loved a challenge, but he also knew when to play it cool also and Molly didn't seem the type to enjoy someone pestering her all the time. His enjoyment of the female's backside swaying away from him washed as steel-blue eyes veiled in close fitting glasses turned back to the irritation. "I need to talk to someone about leasing or buying this warehouse," he motioned with a nod of his head back toward the target building. Ignoring the insult, if this one wasn't worth talking to, then Syravari would let him feel the pirate's displeasure in a more intimate setting.

Chuckling, Brady eyed the large, empty property. "That one's owned by a member of the Black Sun," he began, then turned back to the well dressed slaver. "So, guess you're shit out of luck, pal. They love holding on to their bits of Corellia, especially down here."

"Got a name?" Undeterred, Syravari had worked with Black Sun thugs before.

"Get this guy," Brady turned to his four friends just inside the busy warehouse, then back. "You must got balls of duracrete," he stepped closer, nasty breath now fogging Syravari's shades. "They don't deal with anyone outside their own circle unless you're a target of theirs."

Without thought, the larger, slightly older gambler fired a punch into Brady's gut, doubling him over. Wrenching the thug around and drawing the gunman's own pistol from his shoulder holster, Syravari pointed it at the man's head. "Perhaps you didn't hear me..."
