This is a handy little tool to determine on a broad scale where individuals are oriented in a two dimensional relationship between fiscal issues and authoritative issues. I figure that if we all have our senators and assorted politicians take the test, it may illustrate where some might find common ground and others may not.

For your results, post your x/y numbers here and we can discuss where they lie. Some of the questions are obviously not suited for a galaxy far away (ie, marijuana) but use your imagination and best judgment to suss it out. For the large part of things, the questions asked are pretty broad stroke.

For Taataani Fai'sheea Igaarraai Meorrrei, she is:

This puts her plainly in fiscally conservative and authoritarian territory. For reference, she is a bit more libertarian than Margaret Thatcher (one of her character influences) but is nearly as fiscally conservative as the Iron Lady. In US elections 2016, she is extremely close to Hillary Clinton.

[Torrsk Oruo'rel]

For Torrsk Oruo'rel, he is:

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.28

This is a pretty weird/unexpected placement for Torrsk, though I suppose it makes sense. He doesn't care about your gender, religion, or sexual orientation, and he's all for that everyone does their part / don't you know there's a war on attitude; but he's very much a Bothans first sort of guy, and he's tough on crime and discipline and very much pro-surveillance. Maybe not surprisingly, he's in the same ballpark as the Scottish Nationalist Party, Scottish Socialist Party, and Sinn Féin.

[Tukphen]

For Tukphen, he is:

Economic Left/Right: -5.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.82

Tukphen pretty much has the same alignment as the Green Party in the UK, and absolutely none of the US parties. He's basically Space Gandhi.

[Kelvin Stark]

For Kelvin Stark, he is:

Economic Left/Right: -0.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 6.31

Slightly surprised to find Stark on the left side of the line. His politics are weird, and very Imperial - he's happy with corporate monopolies (a la BlasTech, Kuat Drive Yards, etc), but only when there's a lot of government regulation. He probably likes SoroSuub and the Mon Calamari Shipyards a hell of a lot more than Incom-Koensayr-Meorrrei for example. I guess his leftness is because he prefers nationalisation/federalisation over having government services be privatised (so... anti-Thatcher?)

[Thada Adel]

Thada Adel: Libertarian

It'd be cool if there was a way to compare profiles to see where each person differs in their views. I'm curious on what topics Thada and Tukphen differ considering how close they are on the graph.

Thada is all about social integration, dismantling toxic corporations, social freedoms, and anti-nationalism. Basically she's against all the things that destroyed the Quarren and for all the things that will get them out of the depth, reintegrate them with the galaxy at large, and improve their way of life; all without harming the Mon Calamari. Raising the Quarren up as equals rather than tearing down the Mon Calamari.

Tukphen and Thada being so close is really interesting. I think they're both on the same page as far as social unity and making sure our industries are morally and environmentally conscious - we probably just have the odd agree vs strongly agree difference here and there.
