VEGA VAN-DERVELD

Character Background
The first and only son of a prominent Imperial family from Corulag, Vega trained at the Imperial Academy on Corulag as part of the Stormtrooper Corps. He specialised into the cold assault division, also known as the snowtroopers, and served in the Battle of Hoth. During this battle, he was cut off with a number of other troops by a Rebel ambush. Trapped inside a frozen cave, Vega took desperate measures and killed one of his team mates to cannibalise them - though the rest of the group tried to stop him. It was here that he discovered his latent ability to touch the Force. Having over-powered his former comrades, he escaped Hoth into the galaxy at large.
Since then, he has been effectively working alone. His contact with other Force users has been sporadic, primarily hit and run assaults.

Raw Material
The effect of the Dark Side on his body has been incredibly severe. Much of Vega's body has been augmented with scavenging cybernetic parts, to deal with the rot and decay that the Dark Side has caused. He has lost three of his limbs during combat. Now only one leg remains intact.
Plot Ideas
Vega has been effectively abandoned by his master. He needs either someone to teach him, or someone to teach. Are you a Force User who wants an attack dog, or who wants to be taught by the galaxies least charismatic monster?
He is a wanted man - most prominently by the Empress Miranda Tarkin, as he has attempted to assassinate both Miranda and her husband, Gallus. Perhaps you are a bounty hunter, or an Imperial agent, who is trying to catch him.
Vega is a Lupine, an incredibly rare species. Perhaps you are someone who wants to know more about this species.
Not all of his former Imperial team-mates are dead. Perhaps you served with Vega, either on Hoth or before hand, and seek him out for some reason.

Grace Van-Derveld - Vega's sister, the Director of Alliance Intelligence. The two have not seen each other in many years.
Loklorien s'Ilancy - also known as Darth Acera, formerly his master and occasionally an unwilling lover.
Current Plots
Panic on Pallaxides - Vega has travelled to the Imperial world of Pallaxides, to acquire a replacement cybernetic arm from the research facility there
