Character Background
A Padawan during the Clone Wars, Tell Cho mainly funnelled what information he could from the Commerce Guild
After the Clone Wars ended, Tell Cho joined the Corporate Sector; later on, he chose the goal of freeing and rehabilitating the Gossam.
Became Auditor-General, defected to the Alliance, and when the Corporate Sector collapsed after the Starkiller Treaty, settled his Free Gossam on Ossus where their sanctuary of Miwù Shanmà was built
Raw Material
Kept his past as a Jedi a secret during his time in the Corporate Sector
Elected King of the Gossam by those he's freed; but a good portion of the Gossam are still enslaved in Imperial Space
Still bent on saving and freeing as many Gossam as possible, eventually reclaiming Castell
The Gossam culture is an odd mish-mash of influences, most succintly put thus: Incan-Chinese Reptile Hobbit-Dwarfs.
Despite the low tech nature of Miwù Shanmà, the Gossam operate a small fleet of blockade runners to free enslaved Gossam across the border in Imperial Space by Any Means Necessary; and use smugglers often also
Plot Ideas
Tell Cho's first responsibility is to the Gossam; with most Gossam still enslaved in Imperial space, it is a vulnerability that could be exploited
As a former Jedi, Tell Cho can serve as an Independent mentor to Force users
Before the Corporate Sector collapsed, Tell Cho had a large bounty on his head for defecting; that bounty could still be on his head
Smugglers and independent blockade runners are welcome to ply their trade with the Gossam in the interests of freeing Gossam elsewhere in the Galaxy
Cho and the Gossam Diaspora are headquartered on Ossus, near the Jedi, which could be a great source of tension for the Jedi and the Alliance considering the Gossam and their activities.
Gossam blockade runners and smugglers are useful allies for those wishing to cross the Alliance/Imperial border quietly
