Character Background
Grace wanted to defy all the odds and become the first female cadet to graduate the prestigious Imperial Academy on Corulag, even despite her family's insistence that it was a foolish dream. Regardless of criticism, Grace applied and was accepted. She obtained top marks in academia and displayed exemplary physical ability in hand to hand combat, marksmanship, and strategy. She was at the top of her class which fueled jealously with her all male classmates. Several of the professors harbored resentment and coordinated with a group of students to force Grace out of school by raping her one night in her room. She was forced to quit or be treated like this every night until graduation two and a half years from then.
She was then approached by a former Imperial Officer who wanted to help her reapply at a new academy. In truth, he was a Rebel recruiter. The timing caused a smear campaign as the Corulag Academy was trying to paint Grace as a Rebel Sympathizer, which they ironically had no proof of despite being true. It was here that she met her future partner, Dasquian Belargic, that would save her from being tortured and brought her properly into the Rebel Alliance as an Intelligence Recruit.

Raw Material
Grace has the Lupine genetic marker but has not shifted. She does have a heightened sense of hearing and smell and a the healing factor of a Lupine despite not being able to shift. She believes this are just side effects of being Force Sensitive.
Grace is also Force Sensitive.
Grace is really just the big old anti to her brother Vega in terms of powers and allegiance.
Grace has a lot of matters of the heart on her plate. She is terrible with emotions since her rape and has become a mask of indifference and immediate distrust ... except when it comes to Dasquian. He and Keth were the two people she knew she could trust implicitly. Despite the chilly nature of her demeanor, Grace is passionate for the work she does to protect the Alliance and the people under her.
She believes she is in love with Dasquian and has not told him this.
She has no idea how to be a mother to a grown, Jedi daughter from the future and it scares her shitless.
Plot Ideas
As the Director of Alliance Intelligence, you have the potential to have a very powerful ally or enemy. If you work in Intelligence on either side of the war, chances are Grace had a hand in something ;)
Is there a chance that you went to the Corulag Academy with Grace? She never knew her rapists. Were you one of the three that harmed her?
Any Imperials not too happy with the Director for any counter measures or ops in the past ... or present?
Existing Relationships
Dasquian Belargic - If Grace believed in soulmates, she would say Dasquian was hers. Partner, best friend and the man she feels that she loves.
Vega Van-Derveld - Older brother and knows he was responsible for what happened on Pallaxides. They haven't seen each other in years - not since he was deployed to Hoth during the Rebellion.
Bryna Belargic - Daughter from the future that has forced the Director to really look at herself differently and take Bryna under her wing. Has grown to love her.
Loklorien s'Ilancy - Lupine Alliance Captain and pain in her ass.
Lorna DeLaTour - Alliance Medic that Grace has worked on a couple of missions. They mesh well and Grace feels that the doctor's potential is being squandered on Jovan Station since Lorna has a knack for agent work.
