COMMANDER ADONIS INIRIAL
30s :: Alderaanian / Alliance of Free Planets :: Intelligence Officer

Character Background
The son of Lord Anpher Inirial of House Inirial, and his eldest surviving heir.
Adonis was Anpher's second son, and so never expected to inherit any kind of hereditary title. Instead of striving for military command the way his father and elder brother Pharos had, he instead embarked on a career with military intelligence. He was an analyst with the Imperial Navy when Alderaan was destroyed - killing most of his family - and defected to the Alliance soon after.
Officially he is an Intelligence Officer, responsible for monitoring and processing recon and border pontrols across a big chunk of the Alliance-Imperial boarder. He also doubles as a little bit of a diplomatic officer, especially when it involves dealing with nearby foreign powers (like the Mandalorians).
He is based on Jovan Station, and has discretionary use of the Destiny, an Alliance patrol ship.
Raw Material
He is the eldest surviving member of House Inirial, and thus is technically "Lord Inirial". He is uncomfortable using it, though sometimes finds it useful in diplomatic situations to present himself as more of an equal to his counterparts.
Adonis' sister Carré is still alive, and is pregnant with his nephew. His brother Lance is also alive... but living under an assumed name (Garrick Kane), and no one knows (yet).
Terrified at the prospect of being an uncle, especially since he's going to have to teach his nephew about Alderaani traditions that he never really bothered paying attention to. He has secretly been volunteering to babysit for Chrys Atreides, hoping to practise his child-herding skills so that he can impress his sister.
He is sometimes (often mistakenly) nicknamed the "Lord Commander"; often in a derogatory sense.
Adonis' jurisdiction / focus includes the border areas near the Carshoulis Cluster, the Gordian Reach, the Hapes Cluster, and the Stenness Node. He has occasional dealings with adjacent non-Imperial territories, including Mandalore, the Tion Cluster, and Ktil.
Adonis lives for his work, and has no social life whatsoever. His idea of downtime is working from his quarters instead of his office.
Plot Ideas
Getting to know the other officers on Jovan Station. Maybe some Novgorod people, too?
Needs to get a social life. BADLY. Needs some actual friends, and some actual hobbies. Someone to be the Chief O'Brien (or Garak) to his Doctor Bashir, maybe?
Dude needs to get laid.
Needs to get to Corellia at some point (and/or have an encounter with Black Sun folks from Corellia) so that he can find out his little brother is still alive.
Occasional dabblings with Cizerack, Hapan, Mandalorian, and Zeltron culture.
Shenanigans in the Gordian Reach and the Tion Cluster?

Vansen Tyree - An old friend of his father's, and Adonis' mentor earlier in his career. Sort of his semi-boss. Good at scowling.
Carré Inirial - His baby (and only) sister. Currently pregnant, and far too many lightyears away.
Kelly Perris - The Defiler of Baby Sisters. Fighter jock. Alderaanian. There may or may not be an assassination plan in place just in case he breaks Carré's heart.
Oisin Ocasta - Alderaani Lieutenant. Second in command on the Destiny. Fighter pilot, very much out of his depth.
Chrys Atreides - Mother of Adonis' babysitting test subjects.
