Star Wars Celebration 2017 - Orlando

The Jedi Master VIP stuff sold out within an hour, but I don't think there's a limit on the other passes.

I'd like to go, especially as I'll be living in the US by then (moving to Dallas in August); but I don't know my schedule nor how tight my finances will be. So, I have no idea whether I'll be able to attend or not.

Sure is for me; maybe by the end of summer I'll have a better idea of whether I can pull it off or not, and I'd like to go if it's possible.

We are also doing three days at Disney sometime between Monday and Thursday just before. We're staying at a time share very close to the Convention Center, which we have for the 9th to the 16th of April.

Anyone else still going? What days? Any Disney Parks?

If you do want to see the Jedi panel you might want to start queuing at 1AM (not PM seriously!) in the morning or whenever they allow people to start queuing the seats for the panels are incredibly rare.

So, at the eleventh hour we've got a decent chunk of folks coming out of the woodwork like delightfully nerdy ants and attending this year.

I have no idea how Celebration works in terms of how its' setup (I'm most knowledgeable on D*C, but that's where my experience with cons ends), so it might be a good idea in these last few days left before we converge to make some meetup plans :p

Can't believe I live 40 miles from Orlando but completely forgot about this. Oh well, job situation wouldn't have enabled me to come anyways. Have fun you guys, and avoid the low end restaurants on International Drive; they're horrible tourist traps.

A bit after the fact, but after seeing Angus MacInnes at Celebration, I started following him on FB. Apparently he's in Albuquerque right now, so I totally just recommended he visit Rio Grand Brewery since it's just 40 minutes from where he is ^_^;

..honestly? My money is on Anaheim in 2019 when Disneyland opens their Star Wars land. They've had Celebration there before and it'd be stupid for Disney to not use the con as a "OH HEY VISIT THE NEW THEME PARK AREA!" thing too.
