Grand Admiral Rez Ace
Early Fifties :: Galactic Empire :: Fleet Admiral :: Intelligence Agent
Currently in: Correlian Sector

Charecter Bio

Rose through the Imperial Navy ranks up to Admiral (before he was Grand Admiral), which gave him much respect.
Served as a Kuat Drive Yards intern
Formerly participated in the later part of the Clone Wars
One of the few to captain a Venator-Class SD (Imperator)

Admiral of Imperial Intelligence Fleet
Extremely skilled at Agent work and Detective work
Underwent extreme Imperial Agent training before taking command of his fleet
Rez immensely studies the work and command style of Grand Admiral Thrawn, building off of his and perfecting it.

Brief Navy Background

By the end of the Clone Wars, Rez had just barely been promoted to Commodore of his own strike force. He then served in that position shortly before being promoted to Rear Admiral, and was set to defend the final construction of the First Death Star. Shortly after the Death Star was destroyed, he was promoted to Admiral due to his vast knowledge and experience that the Emperor wanted to use, and was given several tasks and assignments, one being to stop Rebel intervention on Kashyyyk so that the imperial operations being conducted there could do so without danger. He was used as a Admiral for a while before being promoted to Grand Admiral and commanding the new Imperial Investigation fleet.

Relations

R. S. Esalis: Rez was given command of the Investigation Fleet by Esalis, and makes frequent contact to inform new findings.
Jarvan Trask: His stormtrooper Naval Commando unit served temporarily in the Investigation Fleet. Due to this, the Admiral and Lieutenant gained a friendship.

Raw Material

Rez is a quiet admiral and thinks a lot, preferring to talk only when needed.
Rez is strongly alleged to the Empire, to the point of changing his views on most subjects to match theirs. He fully believes that what the Empire is trying to do is good for the galaxy.
Rez's Command style is much like Admiral Thrawn's, as he listens to and considers ideas from inferior officers. His knowledge of how vessels in his fleet were built and designed allows him to use them extremely efficiently.
Rez is the youngest of five, and one of the only two left surviving.
(Note that Rez was only recently promoted to Grand Admiral, it occurring just around the time he was given command of the Intelligence Fleet.)

Plot Ideas:

I am currently working on adding Rez into the Correlia story, serving as a 'first respondent' as reinforcements for other Naval fleets, while also sending out informants for intel.
I am open to ANY suggestions for other plot ideas, including participation in another on-going story.

Imperial Intelligence Fleet: The Imperial Intelligence Fleet is a newly formed fleet for the Imperial Intelligence. Most intel that Imperial Intelligence acquires is through informants, but this new fleet has been assigned to act as an Intel Hub for whatever area it is in. It is combat oriented as well, because Imperial High Command did not want to create such a large fleet just to only be specialized in Intel. Grand Admiral Rez Ace has been given command of the fleet and has modified several vessels. Fleet specializes in, but is not limited to; acting as an intel hub, reserve reinforcements for space combat, exploration, land invasion/bombardment, ect. Fleet consists of several ISDIs and ISDIIs, VSDIs and VSDIIs, and a plentiful amount of smaller frigates and cruisers such as Vindicators and Acclamator II assault frigates. Flagship is Venator-Star Destroyer Imperator, led by Admiral Rez Ace.

Ventor Star Destroyer Imperator Modifications: The Imperator was a standard model when it was given to Admiral Ace. His modifications to it were very heavy. Firstly, the out-of-date engines were replaced with the Ion Engines that the newer ISD had. This switch allowed the Venator to be more competent in a space battle. Rez also updated the weapon armaments. He noticed that the bottom of the destroyer was one of the most vulnerable spots, excluding the SPHA-T beam in the ventral hangar bay, so he added more armaments there, particularly ion cannons due to a advanced attack tactic Rez developed, to better defend. Ion cannons were also installed on the broadsides. The reactor core was upgraded as well, which allowed for more power distribution. The ventral hangar bay and the upper deck hangar bay were both enlarged allowing for more fighters to be carried and more room for operations. A lot of storage was removed and replaced by Intel centers and controls.

Hey there!

Quick note on your character: you've got him listed as being in his late thirties, but you've also got him participating in the Clone Wars. Our timeline is currently at 10 ABY, which means the Clone Wars (which ended in 19 BBY) happened thirty years ago. You might want to rethink either his age or his backstory... unless he fought in the Clone Wars while he was in kindergarten. ;)

I see. I havent had the dates correct. I should probably study on them. Change it to early fifties.
