Not gonna list a bunch of characters but instead ask you fine folks to pick a couple of characters I write.

Who is the one you like reading and why?
Who would you want to see more of?
Who do you feel like needs more screen time and development?

Standard timeline and TFA, pls.

Salem/Callidus and Vega are probably the ones I enjoy reading the most. There's always so much going on with them, and you bring a real sense of atmosphere with the way that you write them. That atmosphere is totally different for the two of them, as well. Your Vega writing always conveys the sense that you're dealing with something actively dangerous, like finding yourself trapped in a room with a tiger. Salem has a more on edge feeling, like spotting a scorpion or a snake from across the room - it could easily be just as dangerous as that tiger, but it also might ignore you completely and leave you alone; and that keeps you on edge. Your writing resonates in that sort of way: there's more immediate peril with Vega, but more tension with Salem. I'm interested to see how Tarek is going to be different (and similar) to these guys.

Plus, you are just plain fantastic at being evil. ;)

For who I'd want to see more of, (Salem and Vega go without saying) I'd have to go with Sanya and Jamo. Your writing for Sanya is also great, but having chatted a whole bunch over the years about your ideas and plans for her, I feel like the truly fantastic Sanya writing is still to come, and I'm really interested in seeing how that all comes out. Jamo on the flipside seems like a fairly simple character (in the sense that he does what it says on the tin), but the treaty with the Alliance and the Empire has pulled the rug out from under him completely, and it would be cool to see how much that changes him, and how much of his personality manages to endure in spite of that. It's definitely going to be interesting to see how the both of them play out in the TFA era.

For more screen time and development, Dasquian and Daria stick out. They're characters that you've done so much with in the past, but the galaxy has changed pretty drastically since then, and it'd be really interesting to see them trying to fit in and playing more of a role now that the Jedi are more of a lone entity, the Alliance is a legitimate government that Hapes is a big part of, and that sort of thing. I'm also pretty curious about the Starborns too: they were very much defined by the war with the Empire, and it'll be interesting to see how they manage to cope in the presence of peace. Has their sense of duty outlasted the Alliance's need of their skills? Have they retired because they feel obsolete? Are they having trouble letting go of the fight, leading them to look for a way to feel needed on a different stage?

Also, all of the other characters I didn't mention. You should give more screen time to all of them. :colbert

You playing the long game with Salem / Callidus has always been an envy of mine as a fellow long game player. I really like the very quiet simmer you've maintained on his machinations, which takes a lot of patience as a writer to beat into fruition. Always cool and cold, and when possible you show rather than tell.

I'm excited to finally get a lot of Bryna's story unfolded. She's been such an interesting concept for so long, but you've been understandably limited in executing her plan.

I'm naturally sad that we never finished Jamyar :lol but I am really interested to see more from Jamo. Last I knew, he was headed to the Corellian resistance. What's his next chapter? Will he show in TFA?

Vega is hands down my favorite character you write. Pre-reset Vega was this delightful amalgamation of brutality, nastiness, deviousness, and an almost alien dash of kindness... and the way you stripped him down into a creature taken to his basest instincts and drives was like watching fluff get yanked away to the raw bones of rage. Post-reset Vega is a monster, and I love him for it. He's beholden to instinct and the utter desire to conquer and consume. His relationship with s'Il is something I'm so overjoyed to be the other half to, since those two are like some bizarre culmination of the most perfect, twisted couple found anywhere. Even the alternate stuff we're doing is fantastic, showing a vastly different incarnation of Vega that is completely turned on its' ear, yet it fits so wonderfully. And despite the slack jaws that Original Sin gave folks, it was like a culmination of so much inner turmoil building up inside of him that finally was able to be released (haw haw) into a new hateful creature.

I'd really like to see more of Daria. She's a bit of an enigma to me, and she's got some helaciously strong convictions. Her relationship with Wyl is touching, but there's something deeper in her that I'd like to read more of. She reminds me of an unmoving stone that cannot be budged.

Shamelessly gonna poke at pre-reset Dasq, since there's just something about him that I find familiar and comforting :p Though, I wouldn't mind seeing him show back up again after whatever he's been doing to keep himself busy :)

Salem is, to me, a very hard character to get a bead on. And that's not your fault; rather, I think it's a success in how you write him. He's devious and Machiavellian and it's so wonderful. He knows what he wants, and uses the tools and people he has to get him further along, closer to his endgame.

Who is the one you like reading and why?
I like reading Callidus the most, I guess. (Really I enjoy all your characters.) I like how he and LD have that deep connection in their past and how their experiences have shaped them completely differently due to how old they were at the time. He was old enough to call BS on A'na and strike out on his own, and I think that fits perfectly with his personality. He's not one to follow someone else, Salem always has to be in charge. And if you don't like it then guess what, there's an airlock with your name on it, surprise!

Really, just write more. I love how you're able to tease out the perfect story thread between characters, and how when we're writing together we're almost always on the same page. Being able to drop hints in a post and have the other writer effortlessly pick them up and expand on them is just a really fun experience.

Who would you want to see more of?
I want to see more of THEM ALL, but mostly Salem and Vega I guess. And ...everyone else. Write more please and thank you.

Who do you feel like needs more screen time and development?
Dasquian - our spy missing in action has been missing in action for far too long. Alliance Intel has been missing leadership! I know you had a slightly convoluted storyline in place for him that may or may not have been totally blown up when other people disappeared, but if you can figure out how to bring him back from the dead I think the Alliance would benefit greatly. Assuming you had time to bring on another character at the moment. ;)

Thanks, chaps - this has helped me with who to focus on writing in my limited amount of posting time :)

Did I also mention The Rake? Because I would like to see more of the Rake and Dick Grayson as well. ;)

I'm on the way to getting most of the characters you chaps like back up and running.

If you have any feedback on how I'm doing, with writing style and such, please let me know!
