I know I've only just started writing again (thanks work) but I'm always curious about feedback about Kazaar.

I'm so glad your coming back to Kazaar and continuing his story :D

The stuff you were doing with Jen was simply astounding, and it really left me wanting more. Watching you get back into writing him is exciting. I love how you write his dialogue, and his motivations really make everything come together wonderfully in your posts. It's like a glimpse into a broken soul that's trying to rebuild itself by any means necessary.

I haven't read a lot of your stuff (recently at least) but one thing you've got on absolute lock is how to use diction and voice as your character's wardrobe. You can almost feel Kazaar's dialogue, not in how it emotionally resonates, but how the words have dirt on them and history. That is something very few writers actually find is a voice that they can deploy to great effect.

I've always been of the mind that I never want to write in eight paragraphs what can be accomplished in one, and the way that Kazaar speaks, he can absolutely nail the resonance of a scene just like that.

I like Kazaar a lot, and I think you work really hard at making sure his characterization is consistent. I really like the juxtaposition of LD and Kazaar together and how that's shaping up. I sometimes get a little lost with the deeper EU Mandalorian parts of his backstory, but I think it's great that you've got it thought out like that.

He's gruff and outspoken, but there's an air of romantic tragedy to his character, and his ex wife is sort of always in his thoughts. I feel like Kazaar would deny all of this, but it's true!
