Esalis is a great character.

s'Il I've always been a fan of. What I like is the range you've gone through. The character arc from s'Il being a Jedi to Sith and the fight against Dan and everything there is nice. I still get lost sometimes in threads, but that's more my fault than anyone else's.

Loklorien s'Ilancy has by far the most of your body of work put in, and she's got a rich tapestry of history to go by. Not even counting the threads where things have happened, you've put in an exhausting amount of work into not just explaining her, but you've also done a ton of worldbuilding around the lupine culture and history to boot.

One thing I'd say about Lok is probably what I'd say about Serena Laran, is that I'd like to see a little more vulnerability. A peek inside to a problem that might be resolved through interaction. She seems to have things together quite a bit, which is astonishing for someone who has gone through what she has. Not wanting her to be a basketcase or anything, but sometimes it's nice to see a character who is so close to the top of things have a little stumble or an admission of "maybe I should consult". Not talking about Zem, because they share a special bond. But I think interacting with characters strengthens bonds with a little give and take. There's no denying that Lok is a powerful heroic figure, but sometimes a lion needs a mouse to pull out a thorn.

Teagan is...really refreshing. I never thought you'd take her on a path quite like the one you've taken with her and Hob. It's a maverick angle that's really heartwarming and also serves to open up unique adventures for her. I'm very excited for all the open room she has to develop in nearly any direction you see fit.

Dage is fantastic. You've taken what was pretty much a bit part and made him feel very lived-in and human. I've enjoyed writing with him and seeing the awkward and adorable relationship he has with T'yeellaa (and their daughter). One thing I'd like to see on that front is where he doesn't get his way. The theme of those two being in a dance with no real lead is fun, but so far he's won more than lost. It might do a bit of good to see that quirkiness develop when T'yeellaa insists.

Kes is fun. You've again taken a background character and lifted them up into an engaging player in their on right. He's witty, unflappable, charming, and has a Kirk-like streak of breaking the rules. I really enjoyed the tea thread with the Madame, just because you caught me so unawares of its direction. Keep up the work with him.

Farran I am still getting a feel for. Something about her doesn't quite sit right with me, because it feels like she needs to hit a realization or eat some humble pie and face the music that her master only had a limited point of view. I'd definitely like to work at getting through the armor, because I think once she's a little more vulnerable (a theme of this critique I guess) she'll have room to shine as a character.

Not enough to know about Markos yet, but the action scenes with him and Rocky have a great blend of kinetic energy and banter. Definitely want to know his story and how he gets on with his Wookiee pal.

Saa'ri is a complete mystery so far. I want to know what brought her to her decision, and how it impacts both her and her world. She's in a family with a lot of people of influence, and did that have a hand in her choices, or did she somehow find her own space to make them? Why medicine? Is there a story to that?

My favourite thing about s'Ilancy is that she's about fifteen different characters rolled into one. She's that bratty Padawan from back in the Clone Wars, all pickled with age into a grumpy old goat like Vansen. She's the weary old rebel whose sense of duty and obligation only makes her wearier and older as the days roll on. There's the dedication of a Jedi. The darkness of a Sith. The loyalty of the best kind of friend you could ever hope for in this crazy galaxy. She's all those different things all at once, woven together into a gift that keeps on giving. I absolutely loved seeing her in the thread on Manaan, it was like watching a Jedi General from the Clone Wars surge into action with total focus and certainty about what she was doing. I'm also fascinated as hell by the TFA thread you've got going on right now above Raxus Prime, because s'Ilancy is so tired and almost suspicious - I can't wait to find out what has made her that way. You seem to bring something a little bit different to every story, so that it's always fresh, and different, and evolving. You could read a dozen s'Ilancy threads and you'd never get the same thing twice; and yet at the same time, you'd want to, because you snipe everything you shoot for so well that I'm always left wanting more.

Kes and Dage are great. I knew a little bit about them both from before, but most of my exposure comes from the threads on Jovan Station. I really love the way the both of them have been unfolding. Dage's relaxed attitude and easy manner are so likeable; I want everyone to meet him and be friends with him, because he seems like a great person to know. Kes is fantastic too, although dear god if that man does not start giving straight answers I will find him and punch him in the face. I lumped these together though because they're part of what you're up to on Jovan, and that is fantastic. I love the way all these threads have been unfolding, the little snippets of people's lives going on in the background. You've captured all the best bits of Babylon 5 and Deep Space Nine, and it's so nice to read about people just being people in Star Wars. I really need to get my ducks in a row and take part in that sort of thing more.

I love Sam. We need to get rolling with some Sam and Tink shenanigans, because that promises to be ridiculous amounts of fun. We need to try and work out some more Novgorod stuff as well, because I'm really intrigued to find out how she jives with Jaden. She's a really refreshing character, and it'll be interesting to see how much she changes when she has to knuckle down because there's a job to do. Also, if we're still going ahead with the whole thing regarding the mystery connection between her and one of my characters... the dread and anticipation for when those two meet is real.

I miss Teagan. We need to do a Babysitting 2.0 thread with Uncle Vansen at some point, because that's still one of my favourite ever Vansen experiences.

And of course, there's my ADAR. :love We've not done much with them yet, but I love every second of it. I have absolutely no idea what kind of witchcraft or devil deal was involved in helping you pull off a grumpy droid that legitimately feels like they're a grumpy robot instead of a grumpy person, but it was definitely worth the occult ingredients and the child sacrifice.

I'm pretty terrible at knowing characters as I still feel very new here, so I can only really do the ones that I've actually interacted with (or at least been around for activity of):

I've only really got to see s'Il, and only in the TFA era, but I love how you write her as very old and weary after a long legacy of adventures. Her way of removing herself from the universe is a great, classic reluctant hero trope and I really like how she comes across. Reading other people's opinions here and realising the journey she's been on in the present makes it even better, because to have a character that develops that far takes a lot of skill and you've clearly handled it really well :).

I think s'Ilancy is probably my favorite character of yours, and I miss doing Arya/s'Il shenanigans as well. I feel like s'Il has moved on past shenanigans though - she's matured a ton and is a mother and just has a lot of tragic stuff going on that I doubt Arya can fully relate to anymore. I will admit to some trepidation as to how her 'fall' to the Darkside was handled. It felt like a purposeful descent that she somehow rigged a 'get out of jail free' card ahead of time for. Like if she was aware enough to do that (hide her ...goodness... inside of Byl) then she should have been self aware enough to get away from Dan entirely. I understand that there's a lot of nuance there and you certainly have written the hell out of it. I guess I just need to see the END of that storyline. It may have the missing piece that I'm not quite getting in it. :)

I like Farran and I would love to beat her up some more as Ndonsa, but you need to write more of her. I'm glad she's reappearing on the scene on Ossus because she's got a pretty unique background. Not entirely dissimilar to LD in that all she knows of the Force is from one source and that source was a little twisted.

It's been fun to watch Teagan grow up, and I'm looking forward to more of it, though I do miss her as a tiny kid and I really wish we'd been able to do more with her and Arya when they were traveling together that one time. Kes has a great world weariness to him, but I'd like to see him interact with more people than just the usual "charley's character" suspects. Maybe see him let loose (haha) or do something he finds enjoyable. Although maybe a thread where he reads a book for a few hours wouldn't be that riveting. ;) His interaction with the tea house madame was very interesting and a well done character moment for him, being more concerned about others than himself or his reputation.

I love Dage and he's got the perfect character playby. I just hear everything he says in Dennis Leary's voice - which is a testament to how well you've captured his characterization and found the perfect representation for it.

Esalis is probably the one character I wish you'd write more for. I dunno if it's just that you don't have a lot of inspiration for her or what, but I don't think you have a great track record with finishing threads for her! I think she's a great character, and there's probably a lot you could do with her with the new Empire and the Imperial Knights running around, but of course that's up to you and what you have time for. I just wish I could read more of her!

In general you're really good at setting a scene and also surprising the reader with the hidden emotional depths of your characters in your RPs. Wish we wrote together more!
