24 :: Corellian (Three quarters Chiss, one quarter human)/Alliance of Free Planets :: Starfighter Pilot
Currently in: On board the Novogrod

Character Background

A ridiculously rich, spoiled, glamorous socialite, her father owns the massive Mey Mining Corporation, operating out of Corellia.
Has an intergalactic reputation as the ultimate spoiled rich kid, think a Star Wars Paris Hilton. Known throughout the galaxy for being ridiculously girly and fashionable, often featured in gossip holozines.
Is actually an ace fighter pilot. From a very young age she watched starships leaving port on Corellia, and so for her fourteenth birthday, her father bought her a starfighter and lessons with the best teachers around. Since then, she's learned to fly and has a real passion for it.
Ended up serving the Chiss Ascendancy for a time, but left to join the Alliance of Free Planets, where despite her spoiled nature and the fact she seems to be an extremely inappropriate candidate for military life, she rose through the ranks thanks to her skill in a cockpit, obtaining the rank of Captain, and even flying for Rogue Squadron.
In-between serving the Alliance and the Ascendancy, she used her wealth to fund her own mercenary squadron, Nova Starlight, which she still uses on occasion. Mostly made up of droid starfighters. For some odd reason she can't comprehend, no mercenary type likes spending much time working under her...

Raw Material

Ridiculously vain and fashion obsessed. She's never out of incredibly heavy make-up, always in high heels (even in uniform, she wears stiletto boots and refuses to change), always wears very expensive jewellery, often costing more than the starfighter she is flying, and quite literally will stop to fix her make-up and hair before a launch.
Wears an insane amount of perfume. She quite literally has been known to bathe in it. People won't fly her starfighter because it smells so strongly of it, and she has been known to make people uncomfortable standing near her. If she's near the room or about to enter, you will smell her coming by her perfume.
She's utterly useless out of a starfighter. Comically weak physically. She's so spoiled that she has never had to do anything physical in her life. She probably has the muscle tone of a six year old. If it wasn't for in the field promotions, she'd never of passed basic. She's also terrible with handheld blasters. Rifles are too heavy for her and pistols she can't hit the broad side of an AT-AT with. It's probably because she closes her eyes, looks away and screams every time she fires. Most training firing ranges have banned her as it's unsafe to stand even behind her.
Is actually an insanely talented strategist. Despite everybody's belief, when in a starfighter, she can calculate attack patterns, strategies and plans incredibly effectively.
Is an incredibly skilled pilot. She might be the girliest person you will ever meet (scratch that, if you meet her, she IS the girliest person you will ever meet), but she can outfly almost any pilot in the galaxy. She knows multiple tricks, has outwitted capital ships single handed, and is absolutely deadly in the cockpit.
Is rich as sin. At least, her Daddy is, and she's Daddy's little girl, utterly spoiled.
Speaks like a valley like. Like, totes, like one, y'know?
Mud is her kryptonite. She's always in stilettos and has is incredibly weak. If she's ever forced out in to nature, and there's mud, she will almost inevitably end up helplessly stuck in the mud. A very easy way to have a bit of fun with her if you want to annoy her.

Plot Ideas

Adventures! Sheena might seem like a comedy character, but she's actually capable of having serious threads, while still being fun. I'd love to have some classic Star Wars based adventures, starfighter battles and X-Wing action! It was always my favourite bit of the classic films, and I'd love to bring some here.
Sheena is assigned some ground based mission with another member of the Alliance and is utterly useless. Fun ensues as whoever it is tries to carry her through it.
Somebody tries to prank her, fed up with her extreme girlyness. Sends her to Jabiim or something.
Hanging out with the rest of her squadron. I'd love to have her in a squadron and interacting with other pilots.

Existing Relationships

None yet, but keen to establish some past ones with the current Alliance members, what they might think of her, her friends and enemies.

Looks good to me. We can probably get a thing going to introduce you on Novgorod. I don't know if anyone else has a Valkyrie Squadron pilot in service presently, but there's lots of Novgorod crew in our little flying town.

That sounds awesome :). If there's nobody in Valkyrie Squadron I could be squadron leader? Maybe get something going with them that way? If not, that's cool, I can slot in where ever I fit :)

Jaden is Valkyrie Leader, technically. He doesn't fly all the time because of his XO responsibilities, but that callsign is set aside for him when he does fly, Valkyrie Squadron being my baby/brainchild and all that. :)

Jaden's former wingman is also aboard (Oolan Valx'ir), and Kaman was going to be bringing one of her pilots across as well. I'll have to check with Dee too to see if any of her pilots are in the mix. All of the above are former Rogue Squadron pilots (Jaden was previously Rogue One and flew point on the squadron, because our Rogue Leader was busy with extraneous duties/responsibilities/etc) so you'd presumably be acquainted with all of them to some extent.

Since we all have Top Gun style callsigns here on Fans, there's probably no point worrying about who is Valkyrie Six, who is whose wingman, etc - we'll just leave that sort of thing to happen organically, wing it on a story by story basis, etc.

I thought I'd make an appearance on the Novgorod as a pilot as well, for the record ^_^

Viper, at your service *grins*

Awesome, thanks guys :). Great to see the Squadron already has some members. If I throw a joining thread up tonight are you guys in?

Sheena's callsign is (predictably) 'Princess' by the way :p. I love the idea they all know each other from their Rogue Squadron days.

Depends what you mean by "joining thread".

In the grand scheme of things, we're all pretty new to the squadron. The Novgorod recently(ish) suffered heavy losses and got an influx of new crew, including Jaden as the XO. He was given orders to recruit some new pilots, and he drew heavily from his former Rogue comrades, because he knew they were all bored as hell with the whole peacetime thing. If Sheena is a former Rogue, then it makes more sense that she was part of that initial batch of people Jaden recruited - otherwise, it raises the question of why she wasn't "good enough" for him to try and recruit her in the first place. (Unless you want there to have been some reason why Jaden was reluctant to recruit her a few weeks/months ago?)

We could either do a thread set "now" that assumes everyone has been there all along... or we can do a thread that takes place back when Jaden was originally recruiting people? Depends if you're wanting to do more of a team-building thread, or if you fancy doing a little bit of a fun mission. Or we could do a little bit of a downtime thread, have the pilots hanging out / socialising on Jovan Station (one of our regular ports), if that's the kind of shenanigans you fancy?

If you'd like, we can pair Sheena up with Twitch - that's Jaden's wingman from back in the day, and he's Verpine and adorable.

Well, possibly Jaden didn't want her to based on how she is. After all, would you want the perfume stinking spoiled ditzy valley girl in your squadron, even if she WAS an ace pilot? :p But it's probably more fun if they're all together. That way there's more friendship/team mate feelings.

Yeah, I can team up with whoever you think would work. The more characters to interact with the merrier :).

Okay, I'll throw up a normal socialising thread, and we can go from there just to get a feel for everybody's characters :)
